What next for Hatton?Ricky Hatton cemented his status as one of the most marketable fighters in boxing following his crushing fourth round win over Jose Luis Castillo in Las Vegas.

The Manchester 'Hitman' will not be short of options in the 140lbs division and beyond but who is most likely to face the daunting prospect of sharing a ring with him next?

FLOYD MAYWEATHER: Mayweather remains Hatton's number one priority with few taking his retirement announcement seriously. The manner of Hatton's win over Castillo will surely have caught the attention of the 'Pretty Boy'.

CHANCES: Growing significantly.

OSCAR DE LA HOYA: De La Hoya will only lace on the gloves again for super-fights and Hatton now fits the bill in that regard. However, the weight discrepancy between the pair will probably prove too great to bridge.

CHANCES: Slim.

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI: Brash New Yorker Malignaggi recently won the IBF 140lbs title and is the perfect man to help fulfil Hatton's ambition to headline at Madison Square Garden. As a stylish, courageous non-puncher, he would be made to measure.

CHANCES: Excellent.

JUNIOR WITTER: Hatton fancies the prospect of a triumphant homecoming after three fights in the US. His British rival Witter holds the WBC belt but Hatton is known to be unwilling to provide him with the best payday of his career.

CHANCES: Fading.

MIGUEL COTTO: Cotto has established himself as one of the hottest tickets around after his thrilling win over Zab Judah. A fight would be a major pay-per-view attraction but would also represent one of Hatton's biggest risks.

CHANCES: Possible.
