R.L. Burnside - Come On In

Robert Lee Burnside (1926 - 2005) was a Blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. The album which this is from was released in 1998, which made him 72 years old by my count. This makes him an absolute legent to me... I only hope I can kick this much ass if and when I reach that age! :D

He didn't receive much attention as a musician until the 1990's, and even then received less than he perhaps deserved. There's an interesting wikipedia entry about him here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462200/

I haven't seen it, but apparently Black Snake Moan (http://www.videosift.com/video/Sam-Jackson-Christina-Ricci-in-Black-Snake-Moan) contains an awful lot of references to him.
