Nuclear artillery is a BAD idea

A nuclear artillery cannon firing, circa 1953. It was discovered that the low altitude (500ft) caused a pressure wave that made the weapon much more destructive than a higher yield weapon exploding at 2,500ft.

This is some of the scariest explosion footage I have ever seen, because it is a battlefield and not a tactical weapon. Let's hope this is never tried again.
