California Governor Gavin Newsom greeted President Donald Trump at LAX to Trump’s surprise.
Trump had been dodging Newsom’s phone calls, refusing to work together to assess and address the LA wildfires, the damage, and the causes, instead opting to spread lies about California’s water system (which contrary to the felon’s claims had plenty of water, just no power to pump it during the fires and water mains that couldn’t keep up) and blame political rivals for nonsense like “turning off the water to protect smelt” (not a thing in winter) and “not raking the forests” which would cost in the range of $4-5 Trillion dollars a year, 60% of which would be the federal government’s obligation since most forests in California are national forests.
Trump utterly failed to intimidate, failed to dominate the handshake as he likes to do, and looked small and weak leaning in to listen to the virile governor as he was finally informed on the facts, not his fantasy of a giant spigot in the north you just have to turn to supply the deserts with unlimited fresh water and a giant space rake to clean the forests for free.
Melania took the opportunity to lean in hard to get a kiss on the lips from Newsom, something she utterly refuses to do with the felon and EPSTIEN partner in crime…she won’t let him touch her.
