NMA: Netflix fans revolt over price hike.

"Netflix users are up in arms! They're furious over the movie rental company's decision to up its rates.

Under the old plan, users could receive one DVD by mail and stream an unlimited amount of movies for $9.99 per month.

Now DVD and streaming services are sold separately at a combined charge of around $16, a 60% increase.

Unwilling to pay more for the same service, Netflix users are threatening to cancel their subscriptions and seek alternatives.

But is $16 for unlimited movies really that bad? It sure beats the cost of taking the family to the theater."
