Motorcyclist Rescues Bird

Just a ride to the local Post Office for collecting a parcel not for myself but for two friends of mine and with the chance of once in a billion this unbelievable amazing happening Striked me so perfectly, catching that bird from nowhere like it was practised thousands of times before...
The Bird probably wasn't his but i couldn't keep it. I live at ground level and i have a lot of cats around my place, moreover i wouldn't close a bird in cage.
Luck or no ?
