My favourite character in LOTR has always been Faramir. The reality of his hurt at never being enough for his father and always trying to prove himself, getting shot down time and time again is so sad, and yet would he have tried to take the ring from the hobbits? Nooo. This is an extended scene where their father convinces Boromir he must go to Rivendell and claim back the ring
