I am completly opposed to any belt ranking that is colored.

In bugei there are only two belt colors... white and black.

We have a saying at our school. "If you have a black belt you had better have black shoes." :P

Schools that have colors and wear them as badges are something foreign.

Belts only serve to boost ones ego.
