Julie Delpy talks about how women are under-represented in the movie industry and that the only reason she was able to secure funding for her film "Two Days in Paris", is because it is a romantic comedy-a genre that is accepted under female directorship.

I saw this film tonight and was very impressed. I think it was the first film I have ever seen, where the main character, a woman, who is very passionate, sexy and promiscuous, is portrayed in a funny,warm, positive way.
