John Wheeler - Pioneer of Nuclear Fission, Quantum gravity..

He coined the terms: black hole, and wormhole. He was one of Einstein's last collaborators, participated in the atomic bomb project, was a pioneer in nuclear fission, teached physics at Princeton university, introduced the S-matrix, formulated geometrodynamics, and the Wheeler-DeWitt equation.

John Wheeler died in 2008.
