Free Your Mind - En Vogue (original)

"Free Your Mind" was released due to the 1992 race-related riots that took place in Los Angeles, California from 29 April to 4 May 1992 following the acquittal of the police offices who had beaten Rodney King. The song is known for its very ground-breaking award winning music video, directed by Mark Romanek. "Free Your Mind" used the chorus line of a George Clinton song with his permission[citation needed]. It was certified gold by the RIAA in the end of 1992. It is one of several songs to feature all four members of the group on lead vocals.
