Example (b. June 20, 1982 as Elliot Gleave) is an English rapper signed to The Beats record label. His pseudonym arose from the fact that his initials "E.G." form the common abbreviation for "example". The original concept behind the video was for the entirety to be in reverse, but it took Example 3 weeks to learn the middle section - so a couple of shots aren't.
