A film from 1949 featuring an Eskimo family from Alaska. (Canadian Inuit prefer to be called 'Inuit' - Alaskan Inuit prefer being called 'Eskimos').

My father was born in 1950, and grew up in a way very similar to the lifestyle featured in this film.

Not crazy about some of the sound effects (caribou running on snow don't sound like horses on cobblestone, shooting caribou doesn't produce a ricochet sound, etc.), but otherwise this is a pretty accurate depiction of Inuit lifestyle during the period.
