"Soeur Sourire - or The Singing Nun as she was called in the States - made one hit in 1963, "Dominique"... What seemed to have begun as a fairytale, tragically ended in 1985 when Jeanne Deckers - which was her real name - together with her friend Annie Pecher - committed suicide after a life of struggle and misery."
