Did Led Zeppelin Steal The "Stairway To Heaven" Riff?

It is my understanding there are a limited number of chord progressions possible and BOTH Spirit and Zeppelin's example here is similar sounding to a classical piece written in the 1700's [my mind is >always< foggy on the details as I wasn't taking notes during the broadcast I saw recently]. I'm guessin' the outcome will be negatory.
