Cyclocross is painful.

Cyclocross 2006/2007 worldcup 11 (Hoogerheide, NL)

For those who have never heard of cyclocross before, it is basically like a steeplechase with a road bike. The races are in the winter which leads to really sloppy and difficult conditions. Cyclists are usually forced to dismount during the race to negotiate obstacles, steep hills and other fun stuff. The bikes are basically a road bike with a stronger frame and durable drivetrain and tires to handle the muck.
In my opinion it is far more interesting than watching the Tour De France, Giro Italia, etc.
