US Attorney Damian Williams announced corruption-related charges against New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez. Prosecutors allege the senator and his wife accepted bribes including gold, cash, home mortgage payments, compensation for a “low-or-no-show job” and a luxury vehicle for protection from prosecutions and for favors to the government of Egypt.
