9 Feet 8 Inches - World Record

Jesse Frankson - an Alaskan Inuit (Eskimo) holds the world record for the One-Foot High Kick. He beat Micheal Blanks, Billy Blanks younger brother, to achieve the world record height of 9 feet 8 inches.

I can't find a link to the Guiness World Records episode that showed this. In it the younger Blanks bro brags about his training regimen - weight lifting, martial arts, etc.

After Frankson beat him and was asked how he trains, he responded "I don't really train."

Notice how after he kicks he lands on the same foot he kicks with and has to maintain balance.
