Problems with French Numbers - Numberphile
The french government also banned words like Email or internet because they didn't want us polluting their language. They invented their own stupid versions of those words but haven't made one for 80?
I upvoted your comment because it was at -1 votes.
Can't someone explain to France that they're doing it wrong?
French is just a terrible language in general; the sooner everyone's speaking English exclusively the better for humanity.

Hello. I was going to help test out the new ability for a submitter to mark their own video *dupeof= however I ran into a new "feature" while testing.
In my dupe video you asked me to try again, but now that the video is killed all the comments have vanished. See here http://videosift.com/video/Kinetic-toothpick-sculpture-of-San-Francisco-took-35-years?noredirect
There is a talk thread about comments vanishing on killed videos http://videosift.com/talk/No-longer-able-to-view-comments-on-killed-videos-2
Secondly I tried to run the *isdupe on another of my videos and got the error from siftbot that I am not privileged. See here http://videosift.com/video/Beyonces-Single-Ladies-Dance-by-7-year-olds
Thank you for trying to get these changes in place. It may not seem like much but at least for me as a regular user I would feel a little less powerless

I did. I love the game shown in the thumbnail, i bought two copies of it in fact
Greetings sir.
See if you like this one, it needs one vote to sift (posted by someone who is very close to silver):

I never thought to use the points and beg like that. I have been wasting my chances this whole time.
I try to only post the videos I really like. Not that you suggested it but I don't want to flood the site with videos in an attempt to get the most points as fast as possible
Keep posting vids! I had posted about 80 vids by the time I got bronze. Videos in your pqueue are like money in the bank, it only takes one pp to send them to beggar's canyon, and it used to take me several trips through there to get one to sift unless a star powered member liked one and promoted it.
You are not taking into account the fact that by speaking up you are on everybody's radar now... and being on people's radar is more likely to get your videos watched, and the more people who watch a video the more chance some will like it enough to upvote.

You are my new best friend on the sift. If there was (or is) a way to add you I would
How a Turbocharger Works
Consumer reports are just trolling for more "viewers"
Under vacuum (cruising low loads) a 2 liter turbo with a possible peak HP of say 220 in factory tune will get significantly better gas mileage than a 3 liter 220hp normally aspirated engine under the same load.
Consumer reports doesn't seem to understand basic science. If the engine moves an extra 50% more air (2 vs 3 liter) and it must maintain the correct fuel ratio then the larger engine HAS to use more fuel. You can't lean out under cruising either or the exhaust temperatures go up too high and it will melt the heads/valves.
Don't believe these goofballs. I speak from significant experience.
I'm not sure of the details, but Consumer Reports seems to disagree: http://news.consumerreports.org/cars/2013/02/consumer-reports-finds-small-turbo-engines-dont-deliver-on-fuel-economy-claims.html
