I've learned through a few years hanging around the sift(a couple of those in only a lurking capacity), that many of my favorite videos are too bizarre or WTF to get sifted. So, accordingly I make concessions and compromises and look for videos that might have some mass appeal. But in my short time posting I've already experienced several heartaches over videos that I've championed that I felt had an honest chance at video sift greatness, and they were either under-appreciated (IMO) or almost completely ignored.
