It's funny; talking to my father, a staunch Republican, he has the notion that the media is heavily skewed to the left. I know this is partially true with some news organizations but what I didn't know, but found out, was that he had no clue that the more liberal found that certain news organizations skewed information to the right. This got me to thinking about what's really important to these organizations and I've come to the conclusion that this is no more than the 90s east coast/west coast rap wars on a different scale—a divide and conquer, if you will. Separate us, get us to pick sides and feed off of our support of one group and disdain for another...just for the money.

In my opinion this is a flagrant and harmful abuse of the human condition. I see a lot of liberal views here on the sift and a lot of conservative bashing but have you ever thought about how informed you really are about the issues and the "opposing side's" real views?
