I want to know why everyone thinks that the calendar rolling over to a new cycle means the end of the world? I mean, unless they're all just angling for some great end of the world parties... in which case sign me up

Everyone here is missing the point. You think it is a coincidence that May 21st is a Saturday? This is obviously just one giant troll so they can throw a Friday night, end of the week/world party that will rock your nipples off.

I for one plan on starting early.

I remember watching this late at night, arguably at the height of Radiohead's fame (I think the later stuff is even better). I also saw them live twice that year and it's rare that I can be motivated to attend concerts. I can't recall if they opened the show with this or "Airbag" but I remember the almost frenzied audience reaction to this song. I don't think they've ever bettered this performance.

[edit] I remember now, they opened the show with this , played No Surprises later and closed the show with Airbag. I felt sorry for the World Party guy who had to follow this.
