There is some nice action in the second half, but yeah, the ending failed to have any emotional impact apart from the wisecracking droid's demise. The scene with Vader at the end was also pretty ace too. Otherwise pretty bland, but at least it wasn't cringe like the prequels.

In addition to the ideal "walk away" solution, I hope that I would have the presence of mind and calmness to make a wisecrack that would hopefully shame the crazy lady into being less likely to cause a similar scene in the future. (wishful thinking)

Maybe something like: look around with an exasperated look on my face and say "anyone want to trade seats?" before walking away.

That was actually my complaint about Iron Man 2....too many jokes. Tony Stark really isn't that much of a jokester. I don't mind the wisecracks, but there's a limit. So I don't mind that 3 will be a bit more serious. My main concern is going to be the Mandarin. I've just never got into the whole east vs west conflict between the two as that was mainly a throwback to the vietnam era and the early 80's. That and Ben Kingsley is clearly not chinese. The accent he uses in the trailer is just...weird

The problem with some of the non-cgi shots of the armor is that it's hard to fake that the suit is not metal. It's hard to fake that something is pretty heavy or unyielding when it actually isn't

Ep4-6 were NOWHERE near as bad as 1-3.

Take the wisecracking humour of Han Solo, take the interplay between C3PO and others, and take the wonderful setting and menacing bad guy.

Now... replace it with slapstick comedy, horrible child actors, possibly worse young adult actors, actual 3 stooges routines... and you're left with utter tripe.

The original ones are undoubtedly better if you saw them as children, but they are also great in and of themselves, and the reviews by ADULTS at the time bare this to be true.

The new ones are just horrendous.

I didn't see any "pwnz"ing going on...Stewart just makes wisecracks, which can be made about any subject if you just want to make a joke. You might as well be interviewed by Groucho Marx. Stewart had nothing substantive to say.
