Anti LGBTQ rights “protect the children” Republican John Raymond has been charged with four counts of child cruelty following multiple allegations of physical abuse during his tenure as the headmaster of a christian academy. To make matters worse, the Louisiana Republican Party—who also says it wants to “protect” children from LGBTQ people—has decided to endorse his campaign over another Republican with the same platform, but no child cruelty charges.

He taped the heads of 3 children for speaking in class…wrapped them to the point they had problems breathing and other staff removed the tape when they saw it, and a fourth was held by the ankle upside down while being whipped, then suffocated until he went limp for crying.
