T-town here too. The only funny thing on the news when I lived there was the weather man who was drunk for the 11:00 o'clock news. Stan something I think.

If they want to assign blame, they can convict their god first and not scientists. fucking idiots. The weather man is next.

80 is orange up there? The weather man down here doesn't color in orange until the mid 90's.

Not a hologram. This is nothing more then typical Bluescreen color keying, as it is called, with the added touch of motion control cameras. The cameras with the news anchor are programmed with the same moves as the camera in a bluescreen studio. All the other cameras/angles are also the same. Essentially two sets with cameras in the exact same positions, mimicking each others moves. You can even occationally see the color keying messing up, often around her, but also blimps popping up beside the 'hologram' (At least in the live interviews I saw.) This is nothing more then advanced weather man against bluescreen wall techniques. The lady tries to explain it 'all the cameras' which would make sense for a hologram. BUT she then blows it, and gives it away with the 'cameras moves at the same time' quote. A true hologram would not require such a link of camera systems.

It is lame they are calling this stuff holograms. REAL holograms DO exist now, better then in star wars. But this is not it.

While you are right, the fluctuation does have an upward trend, that is not the point the weatherman is making. He is merely pointing out that the temperature fluctuates as the solar activity, a factor that is independent of atmospheric CO2, fluctuates.

The same upward trend is seen in the solar activity, accounting for the observed temperature changes.

I'm not saying that global warming is CO2 independent, far from it. But the graph does have significant merit.

Funny thing.. looks like taken from a Boston MA area station (WBZ). As a kid I probably watched that same damn station after school. I think that weather man is still in weather broadcast here too.

Cap'n Eo. I saw that at Disney some ~25 years ago. Everyone thought it was cool at the time. Interesting 3D effects in the theater for the time. But CHEEZY as can be for sure.
