RAW FOOTAGE: Massacre Across Israel From the Eyes of Hamas

newtboy says...

No, dummy, learn to read…YOU need a narrative of which the graphic visual death is just an incidental part to not be in flagrant, intentional violation of sift rules.

I personally posted the no snuff rule to your profile page, you know undeniably that you are intentionally violating it because you want to show Muslims acting horrifically and pretend it’s happening in a vacuum by offering no other information besides graphic murders.

You should be banned, you only want to ignore guidelines to try to post your false narratives, usually failing miserably.

That you are fighting to keep this snuff propaganda posted (despite it now being age blocked) despite multiple attempts to ban you for intentional violations of sift rules proves you only come here to abuse and are thumbing your nose at the entire community and our rules.

Again, you should be banned…I’ve never said that before, but you have completely lost your shit and all self control since Trump was indicted.

Without a newsworthy narrative, this is pure unadulterated rule violating snuff.

Even YouTube put it behind an age and graphic warning wall, and they allow anything.

I see the underlying narrative…Israeli=innocent victim / Palestinian=murderous monster. By posting the one sided propaganda put out by the Israeli Defense Force it was blatantly obvious to those of us who can think, and conspicuously absent at the same time.

You know full well I think for myself, unlike you who needs any bit of (miss)“information” you’ve ever thought you had fed to them by hyper biased outlets to even grasp the nonsense you believe. You cannot, not once ever, answer a question about any one of your random claims unless the MAGA machine provides you one…and those are always 100% incorrect twaddle. That’s why you disappear in shame at least once a week unable to defend or even explain your utter insanity.

Yes Bob. I learned to form my own opinions and think for myself in first grade. Critical thinking was taught to us quite young. My school was quite advanced and we won the national academic championship in almost every category every year.
You have yet to try. Take your own advice and learn to think…you need to leave the cult FIRST.

@dag and @lucky760…please add my name to the siftquisition request…this is now undeniably intentional. Rules must matter.

So you need a narrative to tell you what to think.

Sad that you do not know how to think about such a topic unless some spin from a new outlet tells you how to think about this.

Learn to form you own opinions-- you will be better for it. Hell you might even take you head our of your ass and actually see the light.

RAW FOOTAGE: Massacre Across Israel From the Eyes of Hamas

newtboy says...

Again, there is no larger story or narrative presented, just pure raw snuff footage. There was no explanation, no manifesto, no reporting at all, just straight murder on film.

It’s not weak mindedness to not enjoy watching violent child murders. 🤦‍♂️
It is definitely against sift rules to post them. I only hope those rules will be enforced.

The issues are important, not the graphic visuals of murders, especially not when you only show those from one side but not the other. I note you neglected to show video of the now thousands of Palestinian civilians and children murdered by the indiscriminate retaliation against civilians, so you absolutely do take sides here, comments or none.
This video is directly from and edited by the Israeli Defense Forces, and is 100% one sided.

What media is “spinning” the conflict? I’ve seen many, all described the attack as unprovoked and brutal, most called it terrorism. What’s not covered is the exponentially larger number of Palestinian civilian victims, despite having about 1/20 the population and no army. What’s often ignored is the inhuman conditions Palestinians are forced to live under, with limited, often no access to food, medicine, power, even water. Zero security, unlike expansionist and genocidal Israel. There’s your spin.

Yes, it’s pure snuff. There is no redeeming information included, just graphic murders on film. That is absolutely 100% clearly forbidden on the sift.

YouTube does not have a strict “no snuff” policy, videosift does and has since it started. Don’t feign ignorance. That said, it is age restricted on YouTube now. This is far from the first time you posted snuff and got called out.

@dag and @lucky760, sorry to involve you, but please make an administrative ruling and delete this if you agree it’s snuff, or rule that it isn’t. I take no position on a ban/siftquisition, but note it has been requested by others.

Showing undistilled, un biased facts of what is going on over there is important.

I did not take a side in my comments. I did not post any comments.

If you are too week minded to watch, so be it.

This is important to form a true stance of which side you are on, if any.

@newtboy This isn't just some snuff film. The importance of this and its implications for the globe is important.

All media spinning this event to their bent.
One need to clearly objectively know about this.

If you Tube didn't ban it why should Sift?

Fallout TV Show Teaser

cloudballoon says...

Looks like they WERE clapping for Starfield.

I can understand the no-cheering/clapping though. The visuals are very generic, the presentation got none of the quirky humor that Fallout was famous for (at least in those early strategy games.... I bought Fallout 3 and haven't played it beyond the tutorial.... too old for FPS shooter) so maybe this teaser is closer to the modern games than Fallout 1 & 2? This feels like a post-nuclear militia war show than a vault-dweller's survival story. So if I'm there I'd be scratching my head rather than cheering/clapping.

The Creator Teaser Trailer

cloudballoon says...

What? Where? How? I'm not seeing it, whether to the comic or the anime.

While there are lots of fans theories on Akira's interpretations, what I see in this trailer got little thematic nor visual similarity to Akira in my book. So, human created something and it turned on humanity. This is more Terminator than Akira.

Burden of Proof | Chilling One-Take about an Abusive Ex

cloudballoon says...

Maybe the overlooking (1st person) camera is in the girl's flat (or a collaborator's balcony), the 1st person camera is controlled by her roommate/collaborator. So the whole setup is to have the victim wait for the ex-BF to the pass by the bridge (a routine thing for him?), then catch her ex's audio & visual confession using a remote mic setup. So whether the ex-BF tossed the on-person mic to the river isn't important, since the camera just recorded a fresh physical assault, and a semi-confession of the past sexual assault as well?

I wonder if this is IRL, would the video be sufficient evidence to nail to ex-BF though? What consititue an admission of guilt nowadays? The suspicions of being recorded and his subsequent physical assault (arguably a minor one? But at minimum an invaison of personal space by force?)... a hint of gaslighting is in there too. All of these evidence, what are they worth legally? Is this at least sufficient to get a perma restraining order on him?

newtboy said:

I assumed the heavy breathing, jacket removal, and camera movement were all the woman returning to her apartment with a second recording device in her pocket and camera in her window.
I guess, with the constant surveillance from multiple angles that’s the norm in most developed countries anywhere in public, and the overlooking camera angle, I never considered the idea that it wasn’t being recorded from multiple devices, so I might have missed the point.
I was only surprised she didn’t retrieve the thing he threw in the creek. The device may be destroyed, but the recording isn’t…not that there was a clear confession on it.

Barbie | Teaser Trailer

moonsammy says...

I'm optimistic that the level of creativity and humor presented in the teaser means the team behind the movie has their collective head screwed on straight. The teasers / trailers that worry me are the ones that are just quick cuts of various action scenes and striking landscapes - leaning too heavily on visuals gives me serious misgivings about the writing. When teasers give a taste but legitimately *tease* us (the Matrix is a good example, or the first teaser for LotR) that seems to generally be a great sign.

Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex

cloudballoon says...

The visuals would be trashed by a video gamer players if this is served as an in-game footage in 2022 on PC/consoles. I feel only Gozilla's rendering and movements felt natural. Everything else is pretty bad and unexciting. The city... I think even Microsft Flight Simulator got better models and more "lived-in" than this. Need more realistic filters and more sirens/screaming BGN at the minimum.

What if Akira Was Animated At 60 Frames Per Second

cloudballoon says...

I can tell the changes in the animation, but it doesn't improve a thing about Akira, and needn't be. I upvote because of Akira, not 60fps (as pointless as the CGI added Star Wars Ep IV-VI... and I'm being charitable). Akira is something that every generation needs to be aware of and watch.

Also, if you have access to it, read the comics (manga). While I wouldn't say it's more entertaining than the movie, it's far more intriguing. Same deal with many of the Studio Ghibli adaptations (like Valley of the Wind). Go for the comics, you'll get more of an emotional rollercoaster ride than the visually amazing, but plot-weakened film versions.

kir_mokum said:

so it would have tripled the cost and made it look worse.

people's obsession with 60+ FPS needs to stop. it looks bad and it's a shit-ton of work. its purpose is to sell more TVs. same with 8K+. even 4K is pretty overkill for most people's viewing habits.

New York Nuclear PSA what to do in case of an attack

SFOGuy says...

I immediately wondered that; a low yield dirty bomb, at say, the UN on the Upper East Side would be a different EMP profile, I presume, from a higher yielded ship born bomb inside, say, a container which had cleared customs in Pakistan, and that would be different from a high altitude air burst, right? So, and the physics seems calculable if annoyingly in my past--you should be able to calculate a range of EMP from various yields?

The "Quora" answers are: a ground-based (ship based?) lower yield weapon has EMP effects of note to the 3 mile range.

An airburst would be a different issue. "Starfish Prime”. In this high altitude nuclear test, carried out in 1962, a 1.44 Mt warhead was detonated at a height of 400 km. Electrical damage, including burning out hundreds of street lamps was caused in Hawaii - about 1500 km from the point of detonation.

By contrast there was no direct blast damage at all at that range.

The maximal electric fields induced in the Starfish Prime EMP in Hawaii were estimated at 6 kV/m. At high latitudes the value could easily be ten times higher.

For electrical equipment to be damaged by an EMP from a nuclear detonation, the detonation point must be above the visual horizon.

A large yield weapon detonated 400 km above Kansas would have an EMP that extended across the entire continental US, but the ground intensity pattern of that EMP would be peaked towards the South of ground zero, it would not be symmetrical."

newtboy said:

Sad that the article and @StukaFox both forgot the emp, that kills all electronics, making your car your tomb if it was made after 1980.
A car is only a decent shelter if it’s at the bottom of an underground parking structure that doesn’t collapse in the blast.
Cars are not escape vehicles in this scenario. There won’t be many erratic drivers, like the article claimed, because any car with a computer chip will be dead.

What Do You Know About Female Anatomy

well...they did say it was a diagram of a women's reproductive system...otherwise might have mistaken it for Dada abstraction of this - https://www.amazon.com/Painting-Longhorn-Skeleton-Rhinestone-Decoration/dp/B0874CC5TV

Amazing New Japanese Hanabi Fireworks

newtboy says...

Ha.

Explain please. I read the entire article/page. Their definition was exactly what I quoted, so it does actually support exactly what I said.

“ Computer-generated imagery, or CGI for short, is a term that describes digitally-created images in film and television. CGI is a subcategory of visual effects (VFX), imagery filmmakers create or manipulate that does not exist in the physical environment being captured on film or video. CGI is instrumental in the making of movies and television shows and serves as the primary method for creating 3D-computer graphics for video games.”

Imagery Filmmakers create OR MANIPULATE that does not exist in the physical environment…exactly what this video is.

Did you actually read it? Because it does say what I’m saying.

You mean because their three examples of CGI films were all pure cgi animation the specific definition they gave doesn’t apply? Lol. It wasn’t an all inclusive list, it was 3 cgi blockbusters.

I hope that’s not your argument. If it is, you should feel ashamed.

kir_mokum said:

lol. that doesn't actually support what you're saying. maybe you should read the rest of it for better context.

Amazing New Japanese Hanabi Fireworks

kir_mokum says...

HA!

this img wasn't generated by a computer. altered [slightly], yes, but filters ≠ CGI. blurring an img, using a blue filter, or cropping an image does not make it "CGI". you can argue the semantics of if it being "generated" by a computer, but arguing it is means all digital photos, images, hell even text of any kind are "CGI". "CGI" is already a stupid, near meaningless term and pushing the definition to "any image that appears or had appeared on a computer in any way" makes it even less useful. [generally VFX/visual effects is the umbrella term people are looking for. CG is the term if they're referring to rendered assets. this is neither. this poor use of language is a huge pet peeve for me.]

imma ignore the "art" argument because that is regularly a black hole of silly and i don't feel the need to engage that but those painted potatoes more effort than this.

newtboy said:

I respect your right to be wrong if you wish. 😉

An image generated by a computer is CGI, it doesn’t have to be Avatar to qualify.
Art is art, whether you like and respect it or not. It doesn’t have to be good to be art.
People in England are painting potatoes, inserting some painted nails, and calling it potato art. This took more effort to make than that does, but they are still art just as much as a 3 year old’s drawing or a fresco by Michelangelo is.

Autism Simulator

newtboy says...

I have to agree, the visual representation seemed…off.

I was more interested in what the child indicated with the mixing board, that sounds (and sights I assume) are not filtered to highlight your focus, in fact sometimes the object of focus is somewhat filtered while ambient noises aren’t.

I often think of myself as partially deaf because I can’t seem to focus on voices no matter how much I try, but I often hear tiny noises others can’t until I point them out. I don’t think it’s an ear problem.
