There’s no paradox, there no such thing as “infinity” in reality.
Infinity is an unreal mathematical concept like “i” (imaginary numbers that are the square root of a negative number).
Useful in calculations but really it’s just a placeholder for our lack of understanding about how the universe works (or a simplistic lie to evade giving a difficult, long, and incomplete explanation) , it’s not something found in nature.

Why not a mobius toroid? …or maybe a multidimensional toroid that’s (somehow) a donut in every direction? …or maybe both at once? Have some imagination, physicists. Don’t limit yourself to only the dimensions you perceive or how you see them

As to the economy and American’s pocketbooks….Unemployment at record lows and below 4% for the longest period in my lifetime, gdp at record high in 2022, inflation down, gas prices below $3, groceries cheaper, wages rising faster.
Under Trump we got record high unemployment for the longest stretch in memory, the first negative gdp I’ve ever heard of in America, inflation exploding, cheap gas only because no one was working so demand went to zero, empty shelves and exploding prices, stagnant wages, and over 2 million people permanently removed from the job market (1 million dead, well over 1 million permanently disabled)…Trumps own cdc said his disastrous policies caused over 40% of those cases that many other countries avoided with sane covid policies.

Just yesterday Trump publicly hoped and wished for a major economic crash this year because it would help him in the election, not caring one whit that it would hurt America badly. Says it all, and goes right through that empty space between your ears without pausing.

It’s no surprise you have it 100% backwards…you are basing your position on what Trump told you not actual economic statistics, what he says are all lies.

Exactly why, even if you solve the going back in time problem, time travel doesn’t work.
You also need a “going back in space” solution to orient you in 3 dimensions relative to the position of everything else in the universe at the time of your time/space reinsertion, and surely that’s a more difficult problem than just the reversal of time. Without the spatial correction, any time travel would put you in deep space or inside a rock with a probability of survival so near zero as to be zero.

The lake is huge, so even if you spaced out a ramp every few hundred metres, you're talking a lot of ramps.

The water also isn't good for swimming, and I think ramps would give the wrong impression.
