Utah Monolith Removed, New One In Romania

eric3579 says...

The first one in Utah was a covert art installation (imo) which was installed sometime in 2016 (satellite images)* without discovery until now. It was soon removed by some adventure types https://www.instagram.com/p/CIQ-CErDstp/ . Looks like the one in Romania is a cheap copy cat someone slammed together. I'd guess the one in SLO is also a copy cat. Seems they are not trying vary hard to hide the recent ones.

*John Green talks about whos art it may have been and that it was in 2016 due to satellite imagery. https://youtu.be/dG9A6_ijSIM?t=140

What Evangelical Leader are telling their people bout Corona

There's a video of a city square in Romania circulating, where several priests hand out doses of "Holy Water" to lines of waiting people one at a time to keep them safe from COVID.

From a spoon.

One spoon.

Car Flies Over Roundabout

This is what a ZERO star-rated car looks like in a test

spawnflagger says...

If you pause the video @9s in, you'll see a footnote, that says this car is only valid for the Indian market. It also says that this model is made in India (the law in India makes importing cars super-expensive, so any car maker that wants to sell there has to put a factory there). Renault has much higher EU safety regulations for the cars that it builds in France and Romania.
There are some cars sold in India (Tata Nano for example) where the seatbelts are even optional.
I think the reasoning is that it's marginally safer than transporting your family on a motorcycle, which is common.
Also, random cattle crossing the street have the right-of-way, even on highways.

@newtboy I have friends from Romania and Hungary.

Gypsies are the scum of the earth to these guys.

Calling them a gypsy will get you a punch in the face, because it's that insulting to them.

Nope... guess they didn't... this idiot just 'forgot' to mention it... and because of the conflict there, its "significantly reduced" in size. 30 second google search.

"Last year the number of participants was much greater. It included Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Canada, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine and the US, with France, Germany, Libya, Lithuania, Qatar, and UAE sending observers." RT News

The Moment a Dictator Realizes his Time is Over

dingens says...

I don't think he realizes the situation. He's just looks terribly confused. For 50 years he could do whatever he wanted and the people around him probably told him every day "Romania loves you". Yes his world crumbles, but he just doesn't get it.

ZOMGitsCriss Speaking After the Reason Rally

cracanata says...

The case of Romania regarding religion isn't as grey as presented. The numbers are close to what I suspected, but in fact nobody really cares about religion anymore, most of us get baptized and carry on with our lives and never set foot in a church again.
It became more of a tradition than real faith, and weirdly enough many consider this subject taboo.

Firefighters vs Cops

Why is police just standing there "taking it"? Why are they not shooting teargas and rubber bullets and use sonic weapons?
Getting hosed with cold water and when covered in chemical fire suppressant is as close to "police assault" as it gets.
If these were regular citizens that street would've been covered in blood.

Actually, it's not taking place in the States, so I can understand your confusion.
I guess you haven't seen the recent protests in Belgium, Romania and other European countries.

God does exist. Testimony from an ex-atheist:

So the Bible is "historical evidence"? You do know that all the accounts of Jeebs' life were written decades after he allegedly lived, don't you? That at least one of the Gospels is simply a rewriting of another (i.e. Matthew of Mark)? That alot of them contain "cherry-picked" passages from the Jewish Prophets' texts in order to make prophecies "come true" (causing the NT to be even more incoherent)? etc...
Just because archeology says there was a town or fountain somewhere that's mentionned in the Bible, doesn't mean Jeebs did the zombie walk (nor that such a character even existed... even that is debatable). Not to mention how biased most of those "studies" are (i.e. trying to make the fact fit the fiction). I guess since castle ruins and crypts can be found in Romania (ex-Transylvania), Dracula the immortal vampire truly existed?

On definitions: Deism is not a kind of theism.

Nobody said gnosticism was the opposite of agnosticism; in worldviews and ideologies, it is not a question of opposites (just like communism is not the opposite of capitalism, even thought they have many opposing views).

But there's no having a rational argument with you...
