Hilarious fight between Hannity and Doucey because Hannity wants to spread Trump’s lies, this one about how Trump really won by a huge margin not realized because Democrats in New Hampshire have taken over the Republican primary, first claiming Democrats could just vote in the Republican primary, a lie he got direct from Trump, not true, then after Doucey told the truth about that and Trump had a weekend tirade about being corrected he came up with the lie that they could just switch parties then go vote in the Republican primary on the same day, another lie the cut off date for switching parties was early October. Doucey corrected that lie too, at which point Hannity got pissed and accused him of being a leftist…because honesty and facts are only for leftists while pure made up lies are all that the right peddles, I don’t think he meant to be making that point so clearly and publicly but he did, and it’s accurate, the only accurate thing he’s said lately.
MAGA is nothing but lies and whining now, a failing cult whose prophet is a child molesting rapist tax cheat that fomented a coup to stay in power, stole and sold highly classified top secret military documents, sold a list of our own allied countries spies to Saudi Arabia for $2 billion (and they executed many), and presided over what he made the worst year in American history by almost every measure, 2020.

On Monday Trump said Biden will destroy America IF HE EVER GETS INTO OFFICE.

Enjoy your cult of lies led by a dementia ridden criminal. He’s falling apart exactly like his father who had Alzheimer’s which runs in families (a condition Trump repeatedly took advantage of in his fathers dying years to forgive himself of tens of millions in debts to Fred’s estate and tried to rewrite his dad’s will to cut out everyone else but was caught…and you want a similarly easily tricked dottering fool in the highest office).
And a Florida Senator (Garcia) and the CFO of Florida have decided it’s wrong to take any tax payer money to buy poor children or elderly people lunch or health care (she chairs the children family and elders affairs committee), but they should take $5 million of taxpayer money to hand it to Trump to help him with his criminal attorney fees….yes, they’re trying to give alleged billionaire Trump a taxpayer bailout for his criminal charges despite having massive poverty and lack of services in the state and an over $130 billion in debt. MAGA priorities on full display.

Blew your cover in the first word, comrade. Any American knows the phrase is WIDELY reported, not wildly. 🤦‍♂️

“Stalled”!?! Nice way to say “refused, lied, hid, and fought tooth and nail to keep as his own property to sell and trade as he saw fit”. He didn’t stall, he STOLE. Once again your 3rd year english failed you, comrade.

No surprise, you don’t understand the importance of Trump PERSONALLY going through the boxes and selecting stolen top secret classified documents to keep and hide from the upcoming warranted search he knew was coming (remember, the warrant was presented well before the search giving Trump time to hide stolen classified state secrets) apparently it’s ON VIDEO! It destroys his claim he didn’t know he had them, and it was his subordinates fault they weren’t returned….his best, but a failed defense.

I absolutely see a problem with nearly every president/vp even senators having some classified documents at home…Pence too…, even the low level semi-classified documents Biden had and turned over voluntarily the moment they were discovered, not only searching and finding them, but allowing the FBI to search without a warrant in case there were others (there weren’t)….that’s an issue that should be addressed immediately to stop it from repeating, but that’s not obstruction or intentional theft (at least that’s not proven or even alleged by anyone who counts). There’s zero evidence to show Biden even knew he had them until asked to search, and absolutely no intent or effort to keep them illegally. Without knowledge and intent, there’s no crime.
Also, remember, you can’t indict a sitting president, Trump made certain of that forever…so any crimes you ascribe to Biden are moot, he’s immune from prosecution and could pardon himself (according to Trump). D’oh!

Guaranteed if you search all senators’ houses you’ll find >2\3 have classified documents at home. That needs to stop TODAY. I wish it was a priority for both parties and not JUST a weapon against their domestic enemies.

If you think what Biden and Pence did should be prosecuted and get them prison, you MUST agree Trump should get the firing squad because his crimes were definitely 100% intentional AND he actually tried to trade stolen classified high clearance state secrets including nuclear weapon secrets for information he wanted (and likely more we don’t have proof of).

Trump has now publicly admitted stealing the documents, holding the documents after their return was demanded, hiding them when searched for, lying about still having them under oath, claiming they were his personal property, admitted going through them after being subpoenaed, and has even admitted he did it because he thinks Nixon was PAID millions to return documents he had and Trump wants to be paid. That’s motive. He’s publicly making the case for the DOJ….and they had an airtight case already.

Trump intentionally stole the highest level of top secret documents never supposed to leave a secured facility, then he was officially asked for documents back, he refused, then they were subpoenaed and he both lied and hid them. But some myopic microscopicly minded people like you see Biden/Pence as a major criminal for an infraction but see nothing wrong with Trump intentionally repeatedly and blatantly flauting and ignoring the law.

That proves I care about the law and you don’t. It proves that you are willing to overlook any and every blatant Trump crime against America while exaggerating and overblowing any infraction by your political rivals.

This kind of attempted conflation proves you to be a foolish idiot. You don’t care about what’s a crime and what isn’t, you just want to scream red herrings in hopes that, somehow, someone else committing an infraction can protect Trump from the dozens and dozens of felony charges he’s facing and life in prison for the uncountable crimes against America and the rule of law he’s definitely guilty of.

I would love to see Trump lynched publicly. I’m not alone there.
He wanted to reinstate state lynching, he wanted his own VP publicly lynched for not stealing the presidency for Trump, turnabout is always fair play. Yes, I feel that way about people who attack America, democracy, truth and honesty, and civility. Dishonest malignant narcissistic terrorists should be lynched, but I’ll settle for life in solitary. That’s becoming more likely daily.

Arrested right now, so I know you need a few minutes to cry.

MTG wasn’t even there for him after she fled her own rally in terror from the peaceful anti Trump throngs she accused of violent assault by “making noise” (hilariously the whistles she was whining about were actually Trump SUPPORTERS handing out whistles to make noise FOR Trump) to flee to Maralago where only multi millionaires can enter so she’ll be safe from the people.

Also, wrong “your” again, after being corrected yesterday. You really need to go back to English class, it’s undeniable you failed it.

Wildly reported-- Trump stalled in turning over documents, Wow You got him.

On the other hand Biden had classified documents at his house that go back to when he was Senator -- 100% illegal -- But some closed minded person like you don't seem to care about that.

Just proves your not about equal justice just one sided justice.

Its this kind of stuff that makes you a total foolish idiot. You don't care about truth or justice -- just lynch Trump up - no matter what.

Beau schools on schooling: why 'FREE' scares Biff & Babs

spawnflagger says...

I think there should be free Community College for anyone that wants to go, but I also think college isn't for everyone, and Trade schools should also be free (I've seen plenty of plumbers that charge hourly rates more than lawyers).

As far as other colleges, there should be merit scholarships for anyone who does well at Community College can transfer to those for years 3 & 4.

I had a merit-based scholarship for my undergrad, but it was conditioned on maintaining a 3.0 GPA (B average or higher). If it went under 3.0 for two semesters, scholarship gone. Also required finishing in 4 years, so I had to take 15-18 credits every semester. I also worked part-time during semester and full-time in summers to pay down the loans (that the grants & scholarship didn't cover), so graduated debt free. I also can see I'm an exception rather than the norm.

I wouldn't begrudge anyone getting higher education. I also think some people who drop out when they are 18-22 years old, could go instead when they are older and more mature and totally succeed, so don't force it immediately after high school. Part of that is pressure from being allowed on your parents health insurance if you're in school up to a certain age... universal health care coverage (public option) would fix that and should be a higher priority than universal college. I voted for Bernie.

Body cam videos capture showdown at Muscogee County Jail...

newtboy says...

Cop egos shut down 100% of policing that night, because they refused to listen to the prison about overcrowding. No one available to stop a burglary, we’re too busy measuring each other’s dicks. Proves crime isn’t their priority, it’s you respecting their authority, your submission, and their power trips that are.

The prison requested a major crime sweep be delayed due to overcrowding, no room in the jail, but the police ignored them and did it anyway. The Sheriff then prioritized Sheriff prisoners and refused prisoners from the raid, triggering a standoff that nearly became a shootout.

This is how POLICE respond to police. Zero respect, non compliance, lots of “I dare you”, getting their rifles ready, etc. , then they still think they deserve respect and compliance from citizens. They deserve to be treated exactly like this daily until they get their shit together. Disrespectful egotistical assholes, every one there….meaning every single cop in the area.

Disagreement About Masks at Christmas 2021 in Math Class

newtboy says...

@bcglorf
Reading bible passages in class as “something we can all agree on” is the definition of proselytizing to a captive audience….and outside of private religious schools is totally inappropriate.

It’s not “fun” to be ostracized in public because you believe different mythology or are smart enough to ignore all stone aged mythology…..really only disbelieving one more myth than the believers.

Getting the season completely wrong because you don’t know it was chosen to make it easier to use religion as a political tool is a bit different from “the exact date being inaccurate”. It’s an outright, bold faced, well documented lie, created as a political ploy from the 4th century used to degrade and absorb Zoasterism/Mithraism in order to control the masses politically. That is absolutely a “credibility” issue, and if you don’t get it, that’s an education and/or ethics issue. Christianity has many major credibility issues, being “created” (codified) as a political tool is just one of them. Stealing almost every bit of the mythology from previous religions and denying it is another.

Yes, the misuse of Fauci clips out of context is another issue of truthfulness here, but those who are intentionally ignorant of the reality they just lived through are lost and not worth wasting my breath on. As anyone with two brain cells knows, the first, “you don’t need to wear a mask in public” was recommended at that time because a massive mask shortage meant health care workers had to reuse paper masks sometimes for months during a major pandemic, (and clearly they needed priority on the limited supply) not because we had information saying they weren’t useful….but that’s a minor detail of history I feel only brain dead ignoramuses consider in question, relevant, or factual, and they have discarded fact, truth, reason, and logic in favor of their cult of personality….so there’s no real point arguing with them. Just let them get Covid and hope for EIA.

Preaching one religion in a public class room and claiming “we all agree” is a continuation of a much more pernicious, long term, continuing battle for the religious freedom our country was founded on, and I find it outrageous and anti American that you dismiss it as nothing. I can only hope your children’s teachers aren’t a vastly different, contradictory religion than you and they don’t teach your children that everyone agrees with their religion, not yours, and don’t use proveable fallacies to make their point….but if they do I’ll be here to dismiss your concerns.

NYC's Anti-Vax Rally in 49 Seconds

luxintenebris says...

yes, that is all too true. can be very successful yet be oblivious to the realities around them.

- remember an interview w/Ted Turner, while he was on top in the cable world (CNN was king). when speaking about business matters; very insightful. But when the questions about current affairs came around; he gave his opinion then changed it or said IDK anytime the interview offered a counterpoint.

- in an interview w/Colin Powell, as Sec of State, when the interviewer tried to corner him on how, looking at his GPA in HS and college, he ever made it to a 4-star general? all Colin would do was smile and say (something like) "It's good to be American. It offers many great opportunities to many people." That line of questioning ending in both parties smiling and chuckling.

- had to show our valedictorian how to put air into a tire. watching them struggle was hilarious but made one empathic.

also the belief anyone can become the president of the U.S.A. is both inspiring and terrifying. (as we all know now)

seeing this video, and the truth of the above sentence is a reason why education should become one of the top three, if not top, priorities, and quests of this nation. paired w/a universal form of national service* should provide all citizens will the skills to perceive wtf is actually going on.

*a former military serviceman, back from Iraq, noticed that Congress has far fewer former service members in their ranks since the early '80s. he noted in the military there are many ilks of service personnel, but they all work toward one goal. they have to - or they fail. reading this, have to believe - like Bush, Sr and Clinton both agreed on - that all Americans should put in some form of national service . since it'd foster a better understanding of other Americans: how they lived, how they were raised, their beliefs, the challenges they must face...i.e. see more than what's outside your 'bubble'.

this idea and a couple of other GREAT bipartisan ideas have waned since 9/11 but it'd be a hell of a fix.

why education should be one of our highest priorities. on the same level as national defense.

as a comedian once said (about Reagan cutting educational funding), it does not seem too smart to cut back on education. after all, we are relying on most of our service people, who protect this country, having some quality of education. would hate to see this scenario play out...

Mom arrested after posing as 7th grade daughter in school

BSR says...

First, she wouldn't need to break into the mall for obvious reasons unless the mall was locked up in which case her daughter or anyone else wouldn't be in there to begin with. The mall is a public venue so a disguise wouldn't be necessary. Usually visiting friends homes and/or sleepovers would not require a disguise either.

It's just speculation on your part where mom lets her child hang out and what safety precautions the child might take before and while visiting those places.

However, schools are becoming more secure in light of school shootings but more needs to be done and this was the point she was making. She was able to bypass the lax security at the school and was willing to pay the price for putting it to the test.

She wasn't there to kill anyone, just the poor security measures. If anything the school board or whoever should be fined.

This was not about her having "the right" to do what she did. She knew she didn't have "the right" but she did have the guts and a plan to expose the hole in the dam. Do you think a school shooter gives a shit about their rights to be in a school?

With my job I've picked up a few children on crime scenes that have been shot or stabbed to death and it's the hardest thing to witness and live with.

I hope you are able to refocus your priorities.

jimnms said:

Why is that even a question?

Singh's right. Spending money for Native to have potable water shouldn't even be a question. There's nothing more of a basic human right than having drinkable water, especially since they've suffered being under the broiling water advisory for YEARS.

However, the problem with the NDP is that everything involving doling out money on social programs is a priority. They, like the Greens, are perpetually lacking in presenting anything close to a sensible, financiable budget during elections. They don't even try. That's why the NDP was never a ruling party (at the federal level), just the occasional kingmaker.

Psaki Shows How To Handle "People Are Saying" Questions

newtboy says...

A bit off topic, but Yeah. How dare Biden remove all those operational safeguards Tiananmen Trump put in place!?....
....what....Trump never tried to protect digital infrastructure and denied Russia ever tried to hack them, contradicting his own DOJ, NSA, and FBI?! D'oh!
Guess it was Trump who "allowed" this for the last 4 years while now it's Republicans blocking any upgrades Biden has tried to implement.

Remember, according to Trump's own DOJ and NSA, Russia hacked into almost every single part of our digital infrastructure, gaining unfettered access nationwide during his administration, and he completely ignored it while kissing Putin's cock lovingly.
Biden has made strengthening our digital security across all infrastructure a priority, and Republicans still want none of it and oppose every single upgrade.

Not only did he abolish it, but it was one of the highest priorities of the GOP once Reagan came in. Haynes Johnson writes extensively about this in his frighteningly-prescient book 'Sleepwalking Through History'. The GOP was already following the lead of Roger Ailes (later of Fox News) after he polished the turd named Nixon and the GOP understood if they controlled the narrative, they could stay in power. Newt Gingrich, and the shitshow that followed, was the natural extension of Ailes's methodology. Abolishing the Fairness Doctrine will be studied for centuries as one of the single greatest acts of self-destruction in world history.

Bill Maher's election predictions on Jimmy Kimmel

newtboy says...

I think it's on point.
Doctors rarely tell people forcefully enough that being obese will kill them and make their lives miserable and prone to disease. Not being obese helps your health in every way.

No, it's not a guarantee you won't get sick, a seatbelt isn't a guarantee you won't get hurt in a crash, but it absolutely helps your odds of not being hurt and minimizes injuries when you are.

No, being healthy doesn't mean you can't spread disease, but being health conscious means you would know better, and know how to be safer. If you weigh 500 lbs it's clear health isn't your priority with very few exceptions.

Bill has been saying this for decades....it's like he's suggesting fireproof surrounds for wood stoves. Just because people are burning their houses down in huge numbers now is not a reason to stop advocating for safety, it's more reason to be louder.

Most doctors don't. They nudge, hint, maybe say "if you eat more baby, we're going to have to take your foot" (Simpson's), they don't tell 65 year old women "you weigh 350 lbs, you need to drop 200 lbs now or you're going to die and we aren't going to waste money and effort treating you if you won't lose weight". They should, imo.

Being overweight should be treated like smoking, it's a choice for 99%+, and that choice effects others. Covid proves it, many can't be treated at all because so many have horrible illness, far worse than most other thinner and healthier countries.

Fat acceptance, even fat pride is a thing, there are millions who claim they're obese and healthy, and it's fine to be obese. Take Lizzo as an example.

Full disclosure, I'm not obese, but I am overweight at 5'9" 170lbs.

cloudballoon said:

I think Bill's attack on the science/health experts is misguided.

Not that Bill's wrong, mind you. IF you have a good internal (immune) system you'll have a better chance of fighting it off, but

1) that's NOT a guarantee you won't get sick.
2) DOESN'T mean you won't help spread it by being all gun-ho about it, and
3) USA being what it is -- the number of over-weight, obese are just staggering -- what's the point for the health experts to say/shame people with, er, "their pre-conditions" are to blame NOW? How's that gonna help?

Besides, the health experts have been promoting healthy, active living for ages. They're not "cowards" because the people don't listen to them.

It's mind-bogging to me how narcissistic and self-centered American society is. If people just pay any attention outside of American media, they should know how to handle Covid-19.
