Boston Dynamics New Nightmare Inducing Robot-Handle

Jinx says...

ahhhh yeah

geekgasm at the end there.

But ok, now the wheels need to be able to lock tight so it can walk on them and then attach rocket boosters to help it pick up speed and/or hover/fly and you've got mechas. All we need now is to develop hairspray strong enough to maintain those anime dos and we are golden.

Titanfall 2: a love story

00Scud00 says...

Well, I do like the mecha action, but is there supposed to be a real single player game attached to this thing or is it going to be another another multiplayer title with some single player shit tacked on for giggles?

Who said anything about "thought provoking meaningful experience"? =)

You're doing what all classic internet "experts" (ie. arrogant twats who think their opinion is the last word on everything) do, creating a fallacious argument to launch your scathing invective at while missing the point entirely. If you tried to bolt depth on to a title like Wolfenstein, you'd be undermining the core of the game, which is Nazi destroying mayhem. Do you really need a complex story arc giving you motivation to kill a thousand mecha-SS riding T-Rexs? Of course not.

A game does not require depth to be fun. Certainly there are plenty of indie games that also indulge in the "no depth all action" genre (http://www.crimsonland.com/ as a classic example).

I do have to correct one error in my previous post however, it's not a stick up your ass. It's your head... ; )

Haha, OK when you aren't picking up a BFG and killing off *insert ridiculous nazi baddies* in the last act, then you can come back here and tell me how wrong I was and what a thought provoking meaningful experience the game is.

I'll be playing some indie games that are actually trying to do something more interesting than shooting anything that moves.

Wolfenstein The New Order

In that case I hope Mecha-Hitler is still alive and well. . . That's a sentence I never thought I'd say.

In this alternate history, BJ Blazkowitz was teleported away from his original objective, thus the germans werent stopped. thus able to win the war. He appears suddenly in a mental institution at the present day of this games timeline, and fights back. Thats what i've picked up atleast.

Wolfenstein The New Order

The thing I always have a problem with about alternate histories where "the Nazis won" is logistics. There just wasn't enough Germans to hold the entire world. They had a hard enough time with Europe and Russia.

Yayayah, I know, they have evil demon robots and mecha-dobermans and shit in this game, but that took 11 years to develop in this universe. How'd they hold the US before that?

Frogs and snails,

That's what little boys are made of.

Inhuman leaps, and excellent hand-eye coordination,

Little Girl Gets 3D Printed Exoskeleton Arms: "Magic Arms"

japan builds its first real mech - kuratas

spawnflagger says...

I don't see why they couldn't build a construction loader like the one Ripley used in Aliens.

I thought this "mech" is a nice accomplishment, and the video is very tongue-in-cheek - and real depends on your perspective. If some rich mecha fan wants to buy it, that's great - I'm sure it would get ticketed an impounded if he drove on the streets. I certainly hope any military weapons procurement expert would simply laugh at this video... or at least smile.

Chicano caucus... it's just like the meetings you attend except without, you know, the white hoods and American flag lapel-pins and stuff.

So anyone who wants the laws enforced is a klansman? Hey if you want to see a real klansman, there's always taxocrat Robert KKK Byrd, "the conscience of the Senate."

Here's a message for you from the hoods at MEChA: "For the race, everything, for therealblankman and other guilty liberals, nothing."

Maybe your property should be seized and given to illegals. After all, since you don't mind them invading your country, shouldn't they also invade your home as well? Their welfare is your responsibility. Work hard now!

As you brought it up, please explain what you mean by white culture. Let's see if you can do a better job than your buddy.

Celebrating the Founding Fathers' genius instead of endlessly focusing on the flaws of their age, and whining about slavery and the genocide of Indians.

Celebrating the great thinkers of Europe and America instead of condemning and ignoring them because they're White.

Celebrating the free market and capitalism (White guy ideas) that bring more wealth to more people than government programs and communism.

Rejecting chip-on-shoulder diversity/multi-cult garbage that equates witch doctors with neurosurgeons.

Being proud of the American flag.

Speaking English. And if you're not from here but here to stay, learning English.
