poolcleaner says...

Yeah, so let's talk about holy wars and the code of chivalry, Bill. Get your fuckin' war horse, long sword, mace, crossbow, and whatever else you plan to pack for your new equestrian lifestyle, cuz when holy warz was holy warz, assholes like you went to battle.

BACK THE FUCK UP! IT'S THE TRIPLE ROCKET SWORD!

BACK THE FUCK UP! IT'S THE TRIPLE ROCKET SWORD!

gorillaman says...

"This weapon, known simply as Tri-Entity or Turbo, is a great, unhealthy looking three-bladed sword. The central blade is the equivalent of a long sword of sharpness while the two outer blades are similar in size to short swords of sharpness. When [the wielder] swings and hits, he causes 2d6+1d8 damage, with a +5 bonus for the weapon's enchantment.

The two outer blades can be shot from the hilt, attacking as
arrows of accuracy +4. If the arrows miss their target, the blades fly back to the sword like a pair of boomerangs and reattach by the end of the current round."

SCA? how did that get interjected here! SCA has nothing to do with real weapons. The SCA is fat guys in carpet armor smacking each other with sticks, not a martial art. Downvote was for a long, boring video, in the wrong collective.

In reply to your comment:
Hey, I saw that you downvoted the Iaido video. Im not here to flame or anything. Just wanted to say that im not a person who beleives that the Katana is the master of all weapons. I just favor it because its what I have to practice with, and that was raised in Asian art styles. Its hard to find good videos on anything because the very best practitioners never ever boast.

The long sword cutting the tatami mat was cool. Yes the aura around the katana is enhanced by Narutards, and people that primp the martial way.

I did however spend some time in the SCA, learning to use Sword and Shield. I would definetly take that over any Katana for obvious reasons.

Shinto Ryu kenjutsu School

NordlichReiter says...

This is shinto Ryu one of the three biggest schools of kenjutsu. There is are three major schools, Hyōhō Niten Ichi-ryū, Iaido, and Shinto Ryu. Niten Ichi -ryu was made famous by Musashi, and is the school of two swords. Iaido is the school of sword drawing. Shinto Ryu is mostly use of one sword, but "in knowing one, thing know all things," they use the Bo staff, shoto (wakisashi), long sword, katana, and spears.

An interesting note is that the founder of Iaido was said (in legend) to have been walking down an alley way when and he was attacked from behind. Supposedly he took his side stepped drawing his sword and cut the attacker in half, with one movement of the sword. Thus the school of Iaido was born, out of the necessity to get the sword out of the case faster than ones opponent.

I saw a kendo video here, and wanted to post some kenjutsu!
