The Beatles- "Real Love"

^Can't blame him. It's a lovely song, especially when listening back-to-back with Lennon's demo version. Brings a bit of a nostalgic tear to my eye, especially when I hear George's guitar, for some reason.

Sitcoms' Very Special Episodes

And this is why Seinfeld was consistently brilliant. Apart from that final episode.

Seinfeld as a series was basically, "Here's a group of remorseless, selfish city goers who suffer the consequences of their idiotic lifestyle choices." The tough lessons in Seinfeld were always hilarious and never cause for self reflection.

Self reflection on television is just depressing. Like that episode of Quantum Leap where Sam plays John Lennon's 'Imagine'. If I wanted to end my night depressed I'd youtube all the worst parts of Requiem For a Dream.

The Clash- Magnificent Seven- live

I think Joe Strummer was one of the most talented musicians ever. I started listening to the Clash in 1977, and still listen to them on a regular basis. If i were on a desert Island i would be happy with, the clash discography and also the Ramones for good measure. Joe Strummer RIP.

Agreed. As a musician Strummer is my #1 musical influence, hands down. Followed by Lennon and McCartney. I crank up "4 Horsemen" on the way to work and sing along until I'm hoarse.

Not so sure they were getting along.

Taken from Wiki:
In the film Let It Be, during the Twickenham sessions in January 1969, McCartney attempts to teach the song to the rest of the band,[1] who are clearly less than enthusiastic. McCartney can be heard sniggering at 1:21 as he sings the line "... writing fifty times I must not be so ..." on the studio recording. This is sometimes rumoured to be because as McCartney sang the line "so he waits behind," Lennon mooned McCartney from the control room.

Now that you mention it...
I was actually so focused on how well they were getting along and enjoying the songwriting process that it never occurred to me to take the lyrics into account. Time to dust off the Beatles MP3s!
