Why does every other video I *promote have to be submitted by dft. I'm starting to look like a fanboy.

by the way, would you mind signing my chest, dft?

When the song shifts from the verse to the chorus, Jonny Greenwood plays three blasts of guitar noise ("dead notes" played by releasing fret-hand pressure and picking the strings). Ed O'Brien said, "That's the sound of Jonny trying to fuck the song up. He really didn't like it the first time we played it, so he tried spoiling it. And it made the song."

Firstly I'm also a Jon Brion fan. From what I've seen from movie clips it seems like this movie will be very dark, and not particulary suited for Brion's style of music. I don't think he'd be slighted or hurt by letting someone else do the score. He's got enough talent and projects to keep him busy for quite some time. Not to mention that he's been recording a new solo album at Abbey Road!

In reply to this comment by dystopianfuturetoday:
Really!?! I have kind of mixed emotions about that, because Jon Brion has done some brilliant work in PTA's previous films, yet I love Radiohead and JG. I wonder what happened? First Jon Brion gets his version of Fiona Apple's album (unfairly and wrongly) dumped, and now this.

...not to mention jonny greenwood from radiohead did the score!
