It's centered around a few events in the entire history of the conflict and hasn't even been touched by CAMERA and MERMI TV because its such a heinous allegation, to claim that the suffering of the Palestinians is staged in anyway.

Why? Because it's fucking stupid. But you buy it willingly. What next you're going to claim the reported deaths are also made up by Pro-Palestinian sources like Red Cross and the UN?

Yes Hamas is bad, we get the fucking picture. But you can't lance an organization like Hamas out with military action, no bombs, guided missiles or IDf incursions will stop this. Israel went from roundly defeating Arab armies along its entire border zones in the 60s to being unable to stop Hezboallah or Hamas from occasionally firing the odd missile. The unilateral military actions simply don't work, there needs to be a re engagement of how Israel deals with this situation instead of shooting itself in the foot by coming off as a unnecessary aggressor.

But you don't see that and actually think Israel can win this through bombs and war. Israel asked for this and will keep getting it as long as it believes this is the only course of action.

You will notice that the IDF nor any other military force never posted blue on blue incidents or civilian deaths, the US bombing of friendly UK forces was only revealed post video leak.
Media management of the military has been institutionalized ever since the media coverage of the Vietnam war. That's why the IDF does not allow any foreign media into GAZA and is actively restricting access to the war zone, the same way the US tried to do with Gulf War 2 with it's media embeds.

Farhead - Of course they release videos which show themselves in a justifying light. This is frequently necessatated by the Pallywood productions showing fake corpses, dead or wounded "civilians" or "children" (when both are actually participating combatants).

The internet has made information available as never before, and the military must release it there too. The public demands it. And it's not all official. Citizen/soldiers now blog and post their own pics and video.

Online communities are ephemeral. I haven't been here long enough to know who all the admins are, but short of admins, users will come and go. When I paged through the top 100 users, I think 80+ of them had zero unsifted vids. That doesn't mean they won't have 3 unsifted vids tomorrow, but it might. People come and go in any vibrant community, and sometimes the exits are flamboyant.

I can certainly tell you that if the sift stopped wallowing in free speech, I would stop wallowing in the sift, and I suspect I'm not the only one.

I also think this site has about the lowest ratio of ad hominim attacks of any online community I've been a part of, and I've been wallowing in online communities since 1980.
