The newest Warnock for senate commercial is the old Walker for senate commercial with Trump endorsing Walker!
ROTFLMFAHS!!

The newest disgraced twice impeached ex president Trump property is in partnership with Saudi Arabia….undoubtedly on the crown prince’s dime… in Oman. Now they have Jared and Donny in their pockets.
Remember, Jared gave MBS an “enemies of Saudi Arabia” list based on our top secret intelligence, and MBS quickly arrested and executed them and paid Jared (not the US) $2 billion….now they’re going into business with Insurrectionist Trump for a minimum of $4 billion investment. Trump has zero money to invest in this project, but he still has lots more stolen top secret documents to sell to hostile foreign powers.

Time to raid Maralago for real, unannounced and searching everywhere not just a pre arranged precursors search only where they KNOW stolen documents are hidden like before, and search New York, and anywhere else Trump owns, rents, or has access to (including friends homes, senators homes, etc) before he sells Putin an enemies list (including many American agents) for summary government executions just like he did in Saudi Arabia.

Also revealed today that Trump tweeted out top secret classified images from top secret spy satellites directly from his morning briefings without declassifying them, disclosing to our enemies exactly what orbit our satellite is in and what resolution it can achieve. Specifically, he tweeted super high resolution images of a failed Iranian missile test. He is too dumb to understand why that’s bad.

The Game that is pissing off the Alt Right

shagen454 says...

Yeah, the video did a horrible job at actually displaying angry alt-righters. But, nevertheless, Wolfenstein 2 is a good game worth killing some Nazis for. It was also interesting to see who of the characters in the game are in real life. The title probably came from Vice wanting the Alt-Right to look into the game that shows their comrades being virtually blown to bits in high resolution.

eric3579 said:

I came and wanted to see the Alt RIght being pissed off (because that's the title) and got nothing. I mean, unless the 3 twitter messages, from random nobody's, which was on screen for three seconds was all the outrage. Video seems more National Enquirer then Vice "news". We all hate Nazis is hardly news. More like a circle jerk imo. Anyway, call me disappointed

Speaking Out On Street Harassment

shagen454 says...

I have yet another story to add about this.

One of my better female pals got in contact with me about 2 months ago by standing outside of where I worked waiting for me to come out.

I walked out of the office and was surprised to see her but she was agitated. She had a CD in her hand that she could not figure out how to load on her computer and said that two men had assaulted her in a Safeway; but had the evidence on the CD's.

I let her know that I would absolutely try and figure this out and that the discs were safe with me, I wasn't going to misplace them, etc etc.

She had gone to the security of Safeway (a third party company inside Safeway) and asked for the tapes of the times but they gave her some sort of strange format - you had to install a really shitty program and then the evidence was just a small window on the screen.

I figured out how to export the videos high resolution & full screen.

Basically, what happened was she was at a Coinstar and totally looking very pretty but these dudes came up behind her and leveraged their stuff towards her and grabbed her ass, twice. Once coming in and leaving.

When they left and did the same thing, this strong woman who I know, flipped out. She ran out after them but a cop was already waiting for one of them.

They had both been stealing shit all day long and garnered the attention of the authorities and the cops were on to them. Probably, very high on drugs.

Later it was found out that one of the dudes raped a child and also ran over a person as a hit and run.

She helped prosecute them in court and had no idea that the black hole went as deep as it did when she pressed charges for basic harassment.

This IS awesome. It may choke on low contrast photos of stuff with shadows, but for my use I would take my own high contrast very high resolution shots. The higher res you can perform this at the higher the accuracy on the models.

14 BILLION YEARS OF EVOLUTION IN ONE MINUTE

shagen454 says...

Boner: It is still confusing...

Astrophysicists have created the most realistic computer simulation of the universe's evolution to date, tracking activity from the Big Bang to now -- a time span of around 14 billion years -- in high resolution.

Created by a team at the Harvard-Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics (CfA) in collaboration with researchers at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS), the Arepo software provides detailed imagery of different galaxies in the local universe using a technique known as "moving mesh".

Unlike previous model simulators, such as the Gadget code, Arepo's hydrodynamic model replicates the gaseous formations following the Big Bang by using a virtual, flexible grid that has the capacity to move to match the motions of the gas, stars, dark matter and dark energy that make up space -- it's like a virtual model of the cosmic web, able to bend and flex to support the matter and celestial bodies that make up the universe. Old simulators instead used a more regimented, fixed, cubic grid.

"We took all the advantages of previous codes and removed the disadvantages," explained Volker Springel, the HITS astrophysicist who built the software. Springel, an expert in galaxy formation who helped build the Millennium Simulation to trace the evolution of 10 billion particles, used Harvard's Odyssey supercomputer to run the simulation. Its 1,024 processor cores allowed the team to compress 14 billion years worth of cosmic history in the space of a few months.

The results are spiral galaxies like the Milky Way and Andromeda that actually look like spiral galaxies -- not the blurred blobs depicted by previous simulators -- generated from data input that stretches as far back as the afterglow of the Big Bang, thus portraying a dramatic cosmic evolution (see the above video for a sneak peek of that evolution from four billion years after the Big Bang).

"We find that Arepo leads to significantly higher star formation rates for galaxies in massive haloes and to more extended gaseous disks in galaxies, which also feature a thinner and smoother morphology than their Gadget counterparts," the team states in a paper describing the technology.

Though the feat is impressive -- CfA astrophysicist Debora Sijacki compares the high-resolution simulation's improvement over previous models to that of the 24.5-metre aperture Giant Magellan Telescope's improvement over all telescopes -- the team aim to generate simulations of larger areas of the universe. If this is achieved, the team will have created not only the most realistic, but the biggest universe simulation ever.

what am I looking at. spiraling gas' or something.
what is the significance, why did nine people upvote something they probably do not understand.
what part of the universe is this ? why didnt it start at the beginning ?
WHY WHY FUCKING WHY.

Obama Has a Reptilian Implanted in the Back of his Head

kceaton1 jokingly says...

And we just KNOW that the Egyptologist or Archaeologist or Xenomorphologist or Doodleologist or whatever that guy was, before the ultra-high-resolution video that showed the delicate and precise surgery scars leftover by a alien species unable to do a better job than current medical gee-whiz doctors that have terrible golf scores (people have actually "liked" the notion of NOT having huge scars from surgeries that can be seen from a mile away), oh yeah so...the Professor with the magic markers was showing us the alien head and well that got me thinking.

I've never seen a Professor, Museum Director, Archaeologist, a Doctor with credentials behind their name, or even the poor graduate student that got suckered into doing the presentation and has barely any information to share with the audience... Not one has ever done this routine except for the one time when they were screwing around and knew a Hollywood producer for the SyFy channel was watching and so they quickly had a biology professor get up there and draw an amazing multi-layered magic marker tapestry that was followed by an explanation that made many of SG-1's storylines sound like crap. Needless to say you will see this on the SyFy channel in the future some time, but it won't be a Stargate cable-movie, they'll rename it to, "The Pharaoh's Last Apocalypse", or something like that.

Anyway, the bottom-line. Idiot gets video from idiot number one. Idiot number two doesn't know what "parting lines" are and instead realizes that her previously video from a chain e-mail (the e-mail was nice enough to point out how great the U.S. was, how religion is being slowly destroyed and taken out of our daily lives, etc...) perfectly shows that Obama, using the ultra high-definition video allows you to clearly see that he has been tampered with. Moreover, it is--or must be for some reason--the same thing from Magic marker man (who I feel LOVES coloring books...).

So guess what folks a lizard is in the President of the United States, an augmented alien one that is controlling his mind; not to be confused with our lizard like baser instincts that control our minds to a lesser extent--I'm assuming here... I'm not sure what he'll do (Obama), but we all know lizards are only evil, so are aliens--look at all of our movies if you need proof, fools. If I seem non-concerned that might be because I already watched both of the "V's" Television mini-series and TV show and we always win (and sometimes they fall in love with us or us with them, we're God's chosen, we'll always win, duh).

So I don't see any reason to get all antsy and grabbing shotguns and getting angry at black people!

Warning:Spoiler:This was a work in sarcasm and subterfuge, hopefully you atleast smiled at some parts, maybe some of you laughed. If none of the previous have occurred for anyone this post should be burned, stripped, cast into lepers, tared and feathered, castigate the post, castigate it with something in mind first, and Abilify™.

Sixty Symbols - How Do 3D Glasses Work

deathcow says...

I have never seen any 3D TV experience that "worked" for me. When its 1080P per eye at 60 fps per eye, we'll be there.

My experience comes from using telescopes. Even though there is one lens, casting one image cone, when you use a binoviewer several things happen. 1) everything looks bigger, though its the same size.. this is reported over and over again by people. 2) low contrast high resolution details are easier to see, even though its the same image per eye. 3) problems you have with one eye are diminished, especially floaters in your eyes just fade away.

Now they are coming out with 3D TV which require no glasses at all, but unless they can pump the signal rate up it still will fall short for me.

Amazing Landscapes (Must Watch Full Screen)

Janus says...

Wow. I expected it to just be a collection of nice screenshots or maybe a passable timelapse collection, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It is in fact a stunning timelapse collection.

The combination of movement of the camera, the focal length, the high resolution (of course), the high framerate (I think), and maybe some other details I can't consciously pick out make it actually feel like you're looking through a window into the landscapes. Quite cool.

LG Introduces The Scanner Mouse

bamdrew says...

I bet the camera here is modified from a phone camera (an LG Revolution or something). My phone camera is 8 MP (HTC Inspire), which isn't shabby. It looks like they have a series of LED lights, a camera-phone camera, and more-than-one optical mouse LED/CMOS points to capture twisting and write the info on the fly instead of relying completely on software to autostitch similar data together.

The predefined depth-of-focus of about a cm and the optical mouse info would be all this has over my phone (which has a light with adjustable brightness next to the camera)... so, I was honestly expecting someone to reply 'yeah, here are some phone apps that can do this with varying degrees of quality'.

>> ^MarineGunrock:

High-resolution scanning? No.>> ^bamdrew:
isn't this something a phone camera should be able to do decently?

I have no use for a low resolution, awkwardly small device which you must crane your neck to use or hold in front of your eyes eternally. I like computing on the edge baby, with ultra high resolution big screen and a comfortable chair. And maybe most of all.... a REAL keyboard with buttons. I am sure there are some fast screen typists out there, but its not for me... I like tactile feedback and lit keys in a dark room. The tablet may be ideal for going to the bathroom however...

The stock keyboard on these devices are crap and do not work. But add Swype or Slide-it and they work just great for short amounts of text. Once you start typing an essay then move back to the laptop.
