If you haven't figured this out yet then you just a gullible sheep.

NOBODY GIVES A BLEEP ABOUT JAN 6TH

Most conservatives just don't have the chops for comedy.

This humor genre is somewhere in the late '80s - early '90s. Dated. Like watching 'Friends'.

Putting that aside (like a used tissue) would have been helpful to know when (the date) these comments were taken. Hard to respond to it. It'd be like Bob saying 'landslide' before the election, and him claiming 'landslide' afterward (granted wrong both times, but the context could be scarier in the second).

There is evidence that the hearings are being heard by members of Dumb Quixote's* herd. So at least they'll have some idea why liar, liar, pants on fire is being prosecuted.

Overall, it's being five full days of powerful testimony. If anyone else's trial was preceding like this, their attorney would be spending hours upon hours trying to get a plea deal &/or getting the defendant to plea.

If this was a murder trial, their lawyer would be saying "plead guilty! throw yourself on the mercy of the court! at this point the best we can hope for is to have your body buried in secrecy - so your grave doesn't get violated!"**

may not get the deluded to become undeluded but the bells of truth are ringing and bringing a lot to church. while the rest are whistling through the graveyard.

JUDGEMENT: use crazy don's 🚽 file system for this vid.

Amish response to covid

newtboy says...

You might notice they compare apples to oranges…
Different time periods, different shot levels, grouping mixtures, no clue which vaccine or which strain of covid they looked at, they all vary widely…I would prefer more standardized methods if I’m to make sense out of their data.

I’ve read studies that had similar results, and those with completely contradictory results. Some say natural immunity is better, longer lasting, some say the exact opposite. You can prove anything with statistics….forfty percent of all people know that.

It’s better off the bat because you don’t have to get the disease for the immunity…better again because with boosters it’s better than without them, double boostered likely being better than natural immunity in the same timeframes, or if not, close….also better because you KNOW you got the shots and have a widely accepted record of them, unless you get repeatedly tested you don’t KNOW you had covid…false positives happen…and you don’t get a record to show (for travel, etc).

The science isn’t clear, but it is clear that no immunity is permanent and none is total protection. Because all immunity fades rapidly, herd immunity is a myth.

Buttle said:

That does not seem to be entirely true. It is true that immunity declines, whether from vaccination or infection. It's not true that vaccination gives better or longer lasting protection than vaccination.

Amish response to covid

newtboy says...

Herd immunity is a myth with Covid because Covid immunity is not permanent, it’s very short lived, as little as 2 months. You can get Covid over and over and over until it kills you.
The same is true with vaccination, it’s not 100% effective nor does it last, but it seems to be better than natural immunity with the added benefit of not requiring you to get full blown covid to be protected.

Also, temporary immunity against one strain does not necessarily make you immune to other strains at all.

are the trailer-voice and generic metal music really necessary?, I mean unless these are being sold at gunshows in the US, seems a bit over the top. Can one hunt a dear(herd) with this product?

Biden's Disastrous Press Conference

Covid.
Trump—“it’s just like the flu and will go away before summer”.
This is you[r] boy? This is you[r] pick. 🤦‍♂️

More—We should have had vaccine mandates from day one with no exemptions and heavy fines for refusal, right.
What’s the right wing plan? Oh that’s right, gain natural herd immunity by allowing everyone to get Covid…..except it turns out that natural immunity is short lived and not cross variant effective, and lets millions die in the effort.…so it’s no plan.
Right wing Covid deniers and anti vaxers, like you were for some time, are responsible for the current outbreak. If not for them, Covid would finally actually just be a bad flu for the vaccinated nation, like Trump insisted it was at the onset.

I'm OK with mask off to those fully vaccinated for 2 weeks (so the wearer get full protection) and governments and businesses figure out as much incentive to give to those vaccinated to bring up the herd community thing as much as possible. Nothing works better than free-stuff incentives.

Me, in Canada, living in its largest city, with infection rates at its most severe but vaccinations rate near the bottom of the barrel in the G7, I still couldn't get my 1st shot yet... vaccine hesitancy is such as cruel joke for too many in the world.

Covid Vaccines: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)

luxintenebris says...

any medicine, procedure, or vaccine carries risk. no guarantees, just probabilities. and the blood clotting risk is - what? greater than 1 in a million?

love to have those odds...say a million to one that Scarlett Johansson would reject an improper advance versus one in a million to ever suffer an immediate reprisal.

it'd be worth a shot.

more concerned that not enough citizens will help get the population up to the point of herd immunity. the consequences of that maybe become a catastrophe.

BTW: 1 in 5 chance, of any american car passenger, over their span of life, will be killed or maimed for life. is this worth the risk? doubt many ever give it a concern.

spawnflagger said:

Also, he didn't address the AstraZeneca pause in EU and elsewhere after the blood clot deaths. (link was found, just the EMA announced that due to the extreme rarity, the benefits outweigh the risks). But that also makes John's "zero deaths" from vaccines statement false (maybe he was only counting Pfizer/Moderna/J&J ?)
