Colonel Sanders Explains Our Dire Overpopulation Problem
@gorillaman
If a global population of less than 1 billion is desirable in your eyes, then do you desire the death or sterilization of 6/7th's of the people you know? Or perhaps you desire the death or sterilization of 7/7th's of the people you DON'T know?
This world is simultaneously overpopulated (with wasteful, self-destructive type people) and under populated (with selfless, garden loving infinite sustainable type people). It's not about number.
Until every golf course, front yard, and public park is covered in hyper dense, square foot type gardens, overpopulation (based on quantity) is a complete myth.
It's not my job to police the world by forced population policies. Nor is it David Suzuki's job. Nor Obama's job. Nor gorillaman's job. Nor anyone else's. The best a man can do is to control his own activities and teach his neighbor the virtues of his infinitely sustainable choices.
Angry Dad Hunts Easter Eggs
Awesome front yard.
Hilarious Exploding Cow Pat!
I put a firecracker in my St. Barnards pile in the front yard and actually came to regret it shortly also.
Texas Cops Mistake Actual Weeds for Marijuana Plants
Gives me an idea...
"Hello Police, I think someone planted a bunch of marijuana in my front yard..."
Yard work done!
4.5 hr flight from London to Sydney
40 years ago we still didn't fully comprehend just how dangerous we were on the ground. Texting teens buzzing along at 300mph, oh.. hell.. no.., I'll be busy setting up SAM sites in the front yard.
Customer at Internet Cafe Shoots Two Robbers
Chasing after and shooting people in the back shows the mentality of some of those who carry guns for "protection." It isn't about protection, it is about punishment.
Not all concealed carry permit holders are like this. My dad, at age 79, was mugged in his rural Oklahoma front yard. They hit him in the face with a metal object and he went down, but not out. He didn't have his gun on him. His assailants were unarmed, except for the metal object and the threat of violence. I asked him later if he would have shot them, and he said, "probably not." He knows the difference between force and deadly force. He also knows the power of a gun pointed at you.
This guy was probably justified in making the first shot -- he had the element of surprise and the pistols, fake or not, were pointed at innocent people. I contend that as soon as they started running, that was the time to take a protective stance in front of the other patrons and STOP SHOOTING.
Punishment, not protection.

There are a couple videos in my JUSTICE playlist that have cops crossing the street to harass someone with a camera, one of which is a man standing in his front yard. Aside from that, I understand your rationale.
EDIT: Is it just me or is the profile quoting completely f'ed up? It looks fine in the Preview before submitting... hrmm...

I don't get why the police are against being filmed, as long as they're doing nothing wrong it actually protects THEM.
It's not so much being filmed that bothers most police. Any cop with more than one brain cell should conduct himself/herself as if they are always being recorded... because it is true almost 100% of the time. I have a problem with people who get too close, yell and swear to incite a crowd and generally interfere with people trying to do a difficult job.
There are tasers and firearms made to look and function like cell phones and cameras. Don't get so close that they have to worry about which you have and you can record all you want. I've never seen a video of someone recording police from a safe and reasonable distance then get hassled by the cops for doing so.
Woman Sues City of Tulsa For Cutting Down Her Edible Garden
Seen houses with more for decoration in their front yards.
But if they aren't even following their own codes, she should absolutely sue them. Especially when they didn't let the courts work it out.
John K. Samson "Longitudinal Centre"

This spring made winter an insulting opening offer down the passing lane
It's getting harder to negotiate, thawing out and icing up again
Past the Mint, where a circle of provincial flags are flagging in the front yard
I'm tired of trying to make us think that it hasn't always been so hard
The sky looks sea-sick on the boxcar sway
Where the Atlantic and Pacific are the very same far away
So the sun pulls me out a bit and lets me go, I'm a vacuum power cord
In the back of that van full of kids, cleaning carpets for the Lord
And I make a little list of sounds I found have comforted us in the past
The roar of the rumble strips and the Mennonite meter of the flood forecast
Oh, how the wind strums on those signs that say
The Atlantic and Pacific are the very same far away
Steer this boat around the slowplow spray
While the Atlantic and Pacific are the very same far away
Coming Apart: Elites Should Teach Working Class How to Live
Comment from website with Murray's test:
This test, to me was reminiscent of Jeff Foxworthy.
If you know who Jimmie Johnson is, you might be a redneck.
If you eat breakfast Sunday mornings at Applebee's, you might be a redneck.
If your Ford Torino is on blocks in your front yard next to your Dodge Charger, you might be a redneck.
If you believe in summarizing the lives of complex people in 25 questions, you might be Charles Murray.

Joe Horn: Has Shotgun, Will Defend Neighbors (911 call)
In Texas, yes. Whether or not it is morally defensible is entirely different from legality.
>> ^GenjiKilpatrick:
So if I set one foot in your front yard. That's justification for murder?
Joe Horn: Has Shotgun, Will Defend Neighbors (911 call)
@deathcow
They stole $2000 dollars and some jewels. Judging by the size of the house it would be about two or three months pay? [pretty easily replaced]
@Hive13
So if I set one foot in your front yard. That's justification for murder? Please Hive, use your brain. Not your guttural inclinations.
@Hanover_Phist's comment really hit the nail on the head.
Nevertheless, shouldn't have been burglin'. Problem solved.
Joe Horn: Has Shotgun, Will Defend Neighbors (911 call)
We should work hard for weeks/months of our lives to better our standard of living, and then we should elevate people who would just take our hard earned property to a position of authority over us. It should be enough to step out front on our front yards and yell "STOP! You STOP with that! Bring my stuff back! I spent my LIFE working for that!" It's not like they are taking your life.. they are just taking the months of time you slogged away stupidly working for a living. You should be happy! You can always spend the next six months replacing the valuables they took, and if they are smart, they can come back and take it all again! Sucker!
