Vicious, Terrifying Guard Dog Protects Owner From Attack

Retroboy says...

Runner here (at least before my knees decided enough's enough).

My road route took me past a house where a toy some-such-or-other breed routinely chased me and came close to nipping at my heels. One day my knees weren't the only thing that decided enough was enough. Stopped, turned around, looked at the pesky atom, and ROARED. I'd like to think I'm a kind guy, but in all honesty, the other option of trying to score a field goal on imaginary 40-yard uprights was a very very close second. Runners will understand.

Anyways, I didn't, but it was very satisfying to see that little pest leave a vapour trail on its way back to its old-lady owner, who tried to comfort it against the big bad normally harmless passerby.

Do NOT train your dog to do what these people did. Might look cute, but is not.

Funny but teaching him dangerous habits. He'll grow up to be one of those dogs who bites the moment anyone approaches her, who chases people around nipping at their heals. I freaking little dogs like that.

Kicking a 60 yard field goal at your leisure isn't actually very hard. Many people can do that. Doing it while eleven monstrous men are doing their utmost to stop you, preferably severely injuring you in the process, is the real trick.

Playing hacky-sack with the ball then a bicycle kick through the uprights (1:47) is worthy of some respect.

I'm with @silvercord, suit him up and see what happens.

His distance field goal accuracy didn't seem spectacular compared to clips I've seen of NFL kickers in similar practice situations (ie. no angry linemen trying to rush you, block the kick, or rip your leg off and stuff it up your ass), but still very very good.

However, his punt accuracy would allow for some very interesting set special teams plays. Not just reliable coffin-corner punts, but onside kicks, punting to a specific target and trying to force a fumble, etc. etc.

There have been thirteen successful 60-yard field goals kicked in professional football history, and some of the other abilities he shows, especially hitting another ball in flight, are incredible.>> ^chingalera:

I struggle to notice any intrinsic or perceived skill in what this person is doing. Does the fact that he hails from Norway somehow validate some worthy achievement?

It was joke, son...I was busting deano's balls about his didactic commitment to his channel and her charge's parameters!

The Mighty Morphin' Power Wiki says

In clarifications:

It is impossible to travel while dribbling. The height of the dribble or number of steps taken per dribble is irrelevant.

A player who attempts a field goal may not be the first to touch the ball if it fails to touch the backboard, basket ring or another player.

He was dribbling to the end, technically tried to score a field goal, it hit the backboard, he dunked.

Travelling mostly has to do with while you're holding the ball, not dribbling.

ESPN OTL: John Lennon Murder, 30th Anniversary

shadownc says...

Well that's the thing, they were still going to be the first to announce it. The game ended literally 30 seconds later. Seemed like a weird decision to call one more play, then announce his death, then have to go back into football mode and call the crucial field goal attempt.
