Pendulum - The Other Side
Last I checked they were referred to as a Drum and Bass group. Although they have been shifting to a more 'mainstream' sound if you will.. Still good stuff.

Physics in Trouble: Why the Public Should Care
drum and bass intro music!
yes. drum and bass is officially dead now.
No More Drugs For You.
Pump It by Black Eye Peas
>> ^Sketch:
Yeah, doesn't necessarily look like an ecstacy high to me. Could be anything, really.
Also, not a rave, unless that's some drum and bass version of that song (the name of it and the band allude me at the moment) that I haven't heard, which is possible, but it sounds like it's their concert.
Sorry to nitpick. Just don't care for misleading assumptions.

Venetian Snares - Szamar Madar
There are are a few people who do drum and bass well... This guys one of them!
The VideoSift iTunes Game. (Music Talk Post)
Well, I don't have an MP3 player, so I just loaded up my entire collection in winamp and hit randomize playlist. Here's what I came up with:
1. Beatsystem - Endlessly Downward
This is exactly what it sounds like. It is a 3 minute track of a repeating loop of tones that sound like they are going downward, endlessly. It is kind of a auditory version of barbershop pole.
2. Transwave - The Rezwalker (London Live Remix)
The first of several classic goa trance tracks that ended up here. I do have a fair collection of old goa on here, I suppose, but they are unfairly represented in this list, which is just fine. I love this music.
3. Finski Disco - Speaking in Lungs
Now this is really really weird stuff. Finland psytrance is some of the most interesting music I've heard in years.
4. Acrid Abeyance - 303 Delight
Classic, screaming, hard acid techno music. 303 delight, indeed.
5. Pleiadians - Alcyone
Another classic goa track. Alcyone is the name of a star in the pleadian star cluster.
6. Cause 4 Concern - Research
Drum and bass.
7. St. Germain - Montego Bay Spleen
This is the closest thing to an embarassment on my list. OK, it's almost mainstream jazzy house music. It's cool though.
8. Chris Watson - Adult Cheetah resting by the Baobob tree.
An actual recording of a Cheetah, purring as it rests by a tree. If you turn it up loud, it sounds crazy- almost like you're in a cheetah's mouth!
9. Shpongle - Periscopes of Consciousness
10. Infected Mushroom - Semi Nice
These should be self-explanatory.
Wow, did I ever luck in. What a great list!
Brian Eno - An Ending (Ascent)
I think I like Eno better with drums and bass, but this deserves an upvote.

"you can easily avoid overdoing it without being THAT simple on the drums."
Heh, yeah. I thought you were going to come back with, "but Meg totally draws attention to herself with her hot-librarian looks and her sloptastic, follow-along drumming, which is different from every other rock band and therefor stands out," which is also probably a fair things to say. I'm biased, and used to their 'untrained' sound, so... yeah. If Jack had a better drummer they'd be The Black Keys, so, I guess we got that covered already.
In reply to this comment by JAPR:
Haha, yeah I actaully watched that cover after reading your comment on it. I'm not a drummer myself, but I totally agree with instruments not drawing away from the music by sticking out too much. I think that there's a time for each instrument to stick out. Drums and bass guitar don't really get a lot of time in the spotlight, but they get a unique opportunity to create an extra layer of interest. My favorite drummers and bassists use their technical skills where it adds to the texture of the music to make it better. I guess my point is you can easily avoid overdoing it without being THAT simple on the drums.

I will definitely look that stuff up, thanks!

Pendulum is one of the last "drum and bass" electronic band around. They work a lot with Prodigy, whom you probably are more familiar with. It is titled Slam from their cd "hold your colour". Pretty good album, worth getting it.
