How Not to Do Brownies

newtboy says...

Yes, and no.
Psychedelic, sure. Total ego death infinite out of body experience, nothing close.
Edibles, smoking flowers, smoking or eating concentrates, no. Trust me, I've tried. ;-)
There's a huge difference between somewhat psychedelic and his description. HUGE.
Is it possible, probably yes, but imo only if he's extraordinarily susceptible to thc (or another cannabinoid)or psychotic episodes (which I think I read can be triggered by marijuana).
It's far more likely if the story is true that he unintentionally took lsd, pcp, or some other long lasting psychedelic (I think dmt wears off too quickly to include it).

Newtboy, are you telling me you've never met anyone first hand that has had a psychedelic-type experience on edibles or just plain smoking flowers? Because although rare, it's still a thing. I've had some, very close to what this guy describes, and a friend of mine has them routinely. Are they strictly speaking hallucinations like under a psychotic episode? Not in my case, since the 'visualization' was in my mind's eye, and I wasn't literally seeing something appear in front of me, but it was psychedelic nonetheless.

Bitcoin Is Super Safe, Not Insane Thing to Invest In

shagen454 says...

I bought 32 bitcoins throughout 2012. Now worth close to half a mil. I bought about 4 or 5 grams of DMT over the next two years... each 20 mg of DMT - in my mind - is worth at least $1,000,000. Regardless, even when I started putting money in, there was serious paranoia about the volatility that exists today but isn't as bad as it was back then. You could not trust any of the bitcoin banks or markets back then. A lot of them would just close down and take off with your motherfucking bitcoins, a lot of them would get hacked or say they got hacked, so I always just wanted to get the money transferred out of the bank to a market and released to a trustworthy vendor as fast as possible. So, if you're thinking woulda coulda shoulda - you too probably wouldnah. That on top of the fact that bitcoin transactions took dayyyyssss sometimes, it was fucking slow and a lot of it was through cold hard cash not debit/credit cards...

How Not to Do Brownies

Yeah, that doesn't sound like weed. No doubt, edibles can be powerful and I've definitely eaten some high doses that resulted in near inability to move & audio hallucinations/distortions. But, this sounds like he went through what they call ego-death, which is reliably found in moderate to high doses of psychedelics - "geometries from other Universes", in the void remembering that you had only dreamed that you were a human alongside extreme time dilation that feel infinite or like an eternity - are dead giveaways (pardon the pun). DMT is the best, of course. Get's one there in seconds and back in 10 minutes... instead of hours and hours....

Stranger Aliens

shagen454 says...

All you have to do is smoke DMT to see a hypercube, 4 dimensional visuals where any where you look, every side, is perfectly 3D. That's an oversimplification of that experience but if the brain is able to "see" it through experience, there's probably something to it, scientifically speaking and beyond just the brain, lol

What an extraordinary phrase. Call me a party pooper on this one but extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I for one have no faith in the quantum maths mumbo jumbo that says extra dimensions are possible.

Nurse Arrested For Not Taking Unconscious Victim's Blood

shagen454 says...

If he really received those orders from his supervisor then it's pretty scary still that this fuckface did not have the common sense/decency to question that order when it was obvious the nurse was following protocol but was also stuck between policy & navigating an unfamiliar situation.

I sentence the pig to 6 months in a mental health facility and 2 DMT injections a week to diffuse his ego & expand his consciousness (and maybe he goes to hell once or twice).

Mordhaus said:

So it gets worse.

The person they wanted to draw the blood from is a reserve police officer himself, was not even a suspect in the crash, and only got involved in the crash because the other driver was a suspect fleeing from pursuit by other officers.

So they didn't even need the blood really.

Both the detective and his supervisor are suspended on admin review because the detective said he called his supervisor and was told to arrest the nurse.

the mystery of DMT and psilocybin

shagen454 says...

It is a permanent transformation; people are frightened by this because they just don't have a clue (of how awesome it is)- and neither did you before you experienced what that meant lol

Terence Mckenna (rip) is still the best psilocybin/DMT/philosophy/pharmacology guru/poet/lecturer in my opinion.

We're all just silly cats...

Your Brain on LSD and Acid

shagen454 says...

Yeah, it's been a while for me too. The best one I remember was living off Valencia street in the Mission district of San Francisco. I dropped, went to sleep for a hour and woke up and the floors literally had mist flowing through the apartment like some sort of ethereal fantasy movie. When I went outside the fence was waving/bending in a mesmerizing way and the houses were continually sinking into the ground. I looked at some flowers and they were infinitely growing. The best part was looking in the mirror, it was like one of those youtube videos where someone takes a photo of them-self every day for a year - every second it was like a different photo of myself except very organic watching myself grow old, bald and with a beard and then back to normal, lol. It was fun, but I'd never do it again without some anti-anxiety pills around for the last 6 hours which I found to be fairly annoying. Plus, as Shpongle puts it "LSD? Do DMT." Joe Rogan's Brilliant Alex Jones Impression

Love me some Rogan! I'm pretty sure Rogan gave Alex some DMT so now Alex is always going on about how the Illuminati smoke DMT to get important messages about how to rule the world lol

Bitcoin: How Cryptocurrencies Work

shagen454 says...

Are you talking about your McWraps? Because, if you get your pharmacological facts straight you would know DMT is non-addictive... More people would become addicted to McWraps than DMT and if you ever experienced it for yourself, you'd find out why, lol.

Bitcoin: How Cryptocurrencies Work

shagen454 says...

One tip - VirWox.com is still the best & easiest way to buy bitcoins with a debit/credit card. Buy, SLL and then convert SLL to bitcoins -> send the bitcoins to your wallet, where-ever it might be It took me much fucking around with redphones in strange places in public transferring money here to there to there paying with cash etc - before I figured the VirWox out. The only other thing besides DMT that I bought off the markets was 10grams of phenobarbital. I don't like living without knowing I don't have a relaxing / easy way out and with capitalism fucking the entire planet over I'm fairly happy that I have that option, lol!

Bitcoin: How Cryptocurrencies Work

shagen454 says...

If I had saved all of the bitcoins I spent on DMT (before I knew how to get it for free), I would now have close to $80,000 extra dollars considering back in the day bitcoins were not so astronomically expensive... But, the DMT was absolutely worth giving up that $80,000, if it were $1,000,000 I'd still say it was worth it, $10,000,000 and I'd trade it all back

Would You Ride This?

shagen454 says...

It looks fun to me. Seriously, there are only two rides I have ever been on that I never went to go on again. The Twilight Zone ride, where it goes dark and you drop like 12 stories straight down or something like that. I screamed like a girl. 2: DMT breakthrough, a ride so far outside of this Universe that I screamed for my life louder and longer than I would like to admit, lol. After that, jumping out of a spacecraft back to Earth would be like floating in some soothing, calm Caribbean waters.

Your Brain On Ayahuasca: The Hallucinogenic Drug

dag says...

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

When you smoked DMT, did you see the machine elves or extra-dimensional beings that people like Terence McKenna describe? I find that pretty interesting.

shagen454 said:

Also, in regards to age... I'd say ayahuasca is definitely for older people, when I was in ceremony almost everyone was 30+. And it makes sense, it is definitely not just love and good vibes with some slight alterations to your normal perceptions

To add to that - Santo Diame considers taking ayahuasca "THE Work". They take it at church every weekend, including their kids (lol), they are very serious about it as an integral spiritual/religious tool.
