I'm surprised they didn't have it taping even when they cut away.

You know, right about the point in the interview where they talk to her live and she is wearing a revealing blouse, with side boob, I thought I was watching "The Onion". It was kinda surreal for a minute or so there.

edit- One last thing. One point about the surrealism that I will use as an example. In the interview they cut away and show her in a sundress that shows a fair amount. But, then they zoom in on the picture. Seriously, I think The Onion could do the same bit without changing too many things.

This video serves as a good warning for people with pets.
Pets and wild animals don't mix.
Someone should have seen that coming and removed the pets from the scene.


Good point. Looked like the dog wasn't even paying attention. If it had, it would probably have been wagging its tail eagerly to welcome a new friend. The owner(s) should have gotten their pets to safety, or had them leashed or in a fenced yard.

Somewhat disappointing that it cuts away (unless it gets worse). I was hoping to see the deer move on and dog get up.

I wish they wouldn't cut away right before the sweet sugary impacts. A bunch of slo-mo "objectss hitting people" videos do that. I didn't come here to watch people almost get hit with cupcakes dammit. See 0:42-0:58.

The debris is still there, it's just zoomed out and not on fire anymore. Look on the left side after the shake, just over the house. You can see a few black objects still falling.


Ya, you have to remember where they debris was before the cut away. Right as it cuts away, it is nearly at the same level as the upward moving shroom. We come back so you would expect the shroom to still be going upward and debris still moving downward but it has panned out so much it is hardly visible...but you can see it below (way below) the shroom after it tapers off a bit.

This kind of non-news here, as well as the link in the description (another absolute non-issue, poorly written), and its being reported again here, is the type of diversion created by paying attention to it at all.


I just thought this was funny. Not news to me, more like comedy.

Give it another shot next time you have the chance. They seem to have minimized their cut aways...even going so far to make fun of themselves for doing it.

Agreed there. I've gone off family guy since about series 3, but this did get an abrupt laugh from me.

It did lack the phrase ambalamps and a cut away to EBM getting off bus with close up of his shirt proclaiming -- "I Am A Motherfucker!" on that wonderful sky blue background.

Yeah that's a bit hard for fox news to explain. Essentially the newscaster is saying, "We're going to have to cut away from the Q&A session to give you a brief summery of a Q&A session the president is giving currently (it's the one you were just watching)"

It's like they've fallen into a "breaking news" temporal paradox. Where every program is interrupted by a program explaining the program you're watching.
