Awesome 80's: 1987 Pontiac Fiero sales training video
Shame this car was canned by GM brass under pressure from the Chevy/Corvette engineers, especially since the 'Vette sucked so bad through these years.
"stereo radio?", "Nothing but the best - A Delco GM Stereo!" - LMFAO!

Towing a car from a tight space
When I drove truck, I preferred the old winch and sling system for repo work. The damage caused to the vehicles were the responsibility of the cockroach delinquent owners. Gave me a good feeling when I could cause grief to some fucktard who bought a car beyond his means. You could tell the ones. Corvette driver living in low income housing or a basement suite, etc etc. Anyone who "lost their job" or suffered some sort of setback usually made a deal with the financing company to either keep their ride by paying interest only for a while, or got something cheaper. I would totally toast anyone who would try to hide their car or park it hard.
You won't find this sort of tech on anything other than repo or parking lot impound trucks. AAA trucks are designed for safety of the vehicle, not speed of getaway.

What if the car was a standard and was in gear? Wouldn't dragging the tires like that cause damage when they can't roll freely?
The majority of cars on the road today are two-wheel drive. The Chevrolet Corvette being towed at the beginning of the video is rear-wheel drive and the Toyota Corolla at the end of the video is front-wheel drive. In these cases, the tow truck driver hoists the car by it's driven wheels.
In the case of an all-wheel drive vehicle, this solution would cause damage to the vehicle. I would be especially worried if I owned a car that was mostly sold as front-wheel drive, but the one I owned was one of a few rare, all-wheel drive models(which I do). You can't expect a tow truck driver to know the driven wheels of every car ever made, and the ad itself points out that the tow truck driver can do everything without ever getting out of his truck.
Towing a car from a tight space
Well, at least demonstrating your car towing technology on a Corvette is quite the way to show you trust it completely not to scratch the vehicle.

Getting Passed at 160 kph
^ For all the blurriness, it looks to me like a C6 Corvette.
Top Gear: Bugatti Veyron vs. McLaren F1.
Horsepower... The Veyron has very little of that . Not as much as a Corvette, that's for sure.
Incorrect, sir.
A Veyron from the factory boasts 1001 HP at the rear wheels. The motor is essentially two 4.0 liter V8's wound together through a lot of engineering genius & electronic wizardry.
A stock Corvette ZR1 puts out 638hp at the rear wheels using a supercharged 6.2 liter LS9.
The Z06 model is rated at 505bhp with a 7.0 liter LS7.
A race-prepped C6.R Corvette is the lesser motor, putting out around 500bhp with the LS7.
A Callaway C16 tweaks the LS7 in different ways to jack the output to as much as 700hp.
In general, the smaller motor is preferred by road racers for the more usable powerband. The bigger motor is preferred by drag racers for the sheer displacement, but requires additional modifications to bump the HP, usually through turbocharging or supercharging.
It it possible that you were trying to drip sarcasm on us, but I saw nothing to indicate that this is nothing more than pure misinformation.
For those that care, the rating on the McLaren F1:
6.1 liter BMW S70/2 12 cylinder race motor capable of 627bhp.
They are all beasts of automobiles, to be certain. I'd gladly drive any or all of them, given the opportunity.
And yes, I registered as a sifter just for this!

A 1 mile drag race is just a horsepower competition. Any number of $150K cars (modified turbo Corvettes, Vipers, Supras, etc.) could show up and hand the Veyron its ass in such a race.
I'd be more interested in a road course race.

Electric 1972 Datsun Beats Corvette in Drag Race
Awesome, but my only gripe is he talks about his vehicle being zero pollution, which is only true if he gets electricity from hydro or solar. All those lead batteries are not much more environmentally friendly than the exhaust spewing Corvette racing him
