Stacey Dash's domestic battery case against her husband was dropped days after the "Clueless" actress was arrested in Florida for allegedly pushing and slapping him across the face following a verbal argument.

According to court records, prosecutors in Pasco County dropped the case on Thursday, a day after she pleaded not guilty to a domestic battery charge.

Her husband, attorney Jeffrey Marty, thanked the State Attorney for not pursuing charges.

"She was arrested over my objection at the time, but due to the pending investigation, I waited to comment until now," he said in a tweet. "We both look forward to getting this behind us."

Kimmel seems to do this type thing constantly. Ask enough people and you will get enough clueless answers for your bit. Just seems lazy.

Filing false charges like that should carry the same sentence the crime she lied about carries....times 2 in this case because she accused two people....not one year but at least one decade imo.

Clearly she should also be liable for 100% of their defense costs and at least triple damages for any other losses like scholarships and lost education. She should be broke for the rest of her life, just like they would have been had the truth not come out.

Interesting - but why the "terrible" label? Given the number of (truly) terrible supervisors I have dealt with, and clueless employees, this kind of training would benefit a lot of industries that are "entry-level" employers

GE Medical got sued years ( around y2k) ago for this withholding of service tools..
Looks like these farmers should look at that suit.

Now any 3rd party/ in house has service access to GE equipment.
There is a difference though with OEM and 3rd party access.
OEM service manuals have book marks, most 3rd party docs don't.
Diagnostics for 3rd party is an full test of all systems ( time consuming) but for OEM you can select which test you want.

Still you need to know what your are doing on this stuff.
Some jack off the street would be clueless.

Other OEM's have yet to be sued and hence are like John Deer to service.

The one thing that I hadn't read about before was the screenshot of the text she wrote him the next day. She was quoted as saying, in several accounts, that while it might have been fun for him, it wasn't for her. Even in the babe article, it lists her response as beginning that way.

What I don't remember reading anywhere else was this shortened excerpt:

Sorry, but that's just silly. Limited sexual experience doesn't mean you can't be aware that it's bad sex, you can still be unhappy with it but not know why. You might also think that it's just the way it is.

I wonder how many long suffering wives have just lain there while their clueless husbands mindlessly plowed away, they'll go through the motions while quietly waiting for it to be done. All the while assuming this is just part of their wifely duties.

Yes, full auto varies. I erred on the higher rate side.
A more realistic rate would be 12hz auto, 6hz bump, and 3hz semi.

Only other non-NFA non-bump rapid fire mechanism that I know of is a binary trigger (fires on pull, and on release). Effectively doubles your semi fire rate.

I assume he brought everything not because it was necessary, but because he was planning to die and he had the stuff, so why not use it one last time (not like he'll get another chance).

To be fair, so far, mass shooters have stuck around for the long haul. Escape hasn't been an issue. But sure, in the future it could be.

As an aside, our felony code is incredibly expansive. People get disqualified from gun ownership over things that most normal people wouldn't even think would be illegal.

There's a stat that some lawyer published : a person typically commits 3 [obscure] felonies per day just going about normal daily activities. You can basically put anyone in jail if you choose to monitor them.

IMO, felonies should be divided into major and minor, with anything non violent being minor, and not disqualifying of gun ownership or right to vote.

Eg. I don't care if someone is running a pot farm. It isn't bothering anyone, it shouldn't even be a crime. But if it's gonna be a felony, at least it should be some lesser felony than it is now.

Damn, sorry to hear that. I could go off on a frothing at the mouth rant at how bad it was, what we went through. To save money our original company, a nationwide US health insurance company, outsourced us right at merit raise time (nice touch, a-holes) to an off-shore company that would probably only ever meet expectations running an assembly line operation for building PCs.

They were out of their league taking over level 1 and 2 operations for a large company, which was already working through the pains of merging with other companies they had acquired. Instead of inspiring the legacy workers to stick around to make the transition work, their attitude was we were lucky the host company insisted we get first crack to reapply for "our" jobs. Like it was all one big assembly line and we could be easily replaced with someone with an A+ cert for $11\hr. The equivalent of pulling up to a storefront and having IT landscapers jump in the back of a pickup truck to work that day. Might work for an assembly line but not for a complex embedded IT infrastructure with 1001 local support quirks. They were completely clueless.

Add insult to injury, their internal processes were so bad, over the course of a year they asked us continually to remind them of the phone# of the iPhone they gave us and the serial# of the laptop they gave us. At least half a dozen times, it was fucking absurd. And when we were offered an incentive to help reduce the ticket log backup, they mailed unsigned money orders to fictional home addresses they had on record for us. With the stamp on the wrong part of the envelope for those lucky enough to receive their unsigned money orders. You had the option of mailing the money order back to get it signed (good luck getting it back) or committing a felony to get the money you legally earned, by not using the first option. Took me 7 months to finally get my money order, who knows where they originally mailed it. Their indifference during this whole mess was staggering, you had to badger management and HR like they were a deadbeat drunk brother-in-law who owes you money.

And they kept putting off the review\raise process until they finally offered us 50 cents an hour for the highest performers. I gave my notice the next day.

Sorry for the rant, it was such a colossal failure on all fronts, except no doubt for the amount the host company saved on IT during that time. But of course nobody is interested in capturing the countless hours of downtime and lost productivity introduced by these IT cost "savings". Last I heard they were putting the contract back out to bid before the scheduled end of the current contract, which doesn't surprise me. What a freaking waste.
