Despite only mediocre beta tester impressions? I'd add my own comments but the game browser that GPG has implemented is just about unusable, I've been in the beta for two weeks and I have never successfully joined a game. I still hold out hope for the game but so far the buzz from people who have actually played isn't that positive.

This is Supreme Commander, the spiritual continuation of the Total Annihilation series that Chris Taylor started back at Cave dog Entertiament.

Terrible. Dismal. Pathetic. No these are not descriptions of Benjee from women around the world. But rather my feelings towards the C&C3 franchise. It looks every bit the rehash C&C Generals was. Everyone knows the next great RTS will be Supreme Commander by Chris Taylor, of the Total Annihilation series.

But I'll upvote for the sheer joy these games used to give me back in the day, the original Command and Conquer and Red Alert 1. Oh Tanya, oh NOD obelisk, Oh the memories.
