Trump was caught with hundreds of stolen top secret documents after twice swearing he had returned every classified document he ever took….with HIS fingerprints on them, and those of his assistants, foreigners, press, likely even random visitors to Maralago that found them (definitely photos of that). His son in law was caught selling classified info to Saudi Arabia for $2 billion he still has. His daughter took $36 million in bribes from China during trade negotiations she still has. Trump made deals with multiple foreign nations to use his properties at way above market value like the LIV tour as a thanks for protecting the prince from murder charges, many going unused but paid for like entire floors in his hotels rented out for months or years but never occupied by the Saudis…there’s way more evidence of Trump bribery than Menendez, and Menendez is certainly guilty based on the evidence …but with mountains of red handed evidence on 91 charges and dozens of convictions already you still think there’s nothing on Trump, because you refuse to see. There is none so blind..

Conversely, I posted the news of Menendez being indicted, and showed you how this as yet unproven criminal behavior is treated by the left, like criminal behavior unacceptable in leadership…unlike how like criminal violent treasonous coup behaviors, stealing top secret highly classified military dossiers, attempted election fraud, rape, bribery by foreign governments (exponentially more than here to himself and his family), another attempted election fraud, massive tax fraud, illegally profiting from the office by directing government business to his businesses, stealing campaign donations, etc (91 more felonies and counting) are treated by the right. There’s way more evidence against Trump on each and every one of these charges, and dozens of convictions already, but you just deny it all because it’s inconvenient, not because there’s a shred of evidence to support you.

With infinitely less evidence, the left is calling for Menendez’s removal because even the appearance of impropriety from leadership hurts the nation, but for the right that’s unthinkable, it’s what’s good for Trump that always comes first, what’s good for the individual politician second, what’s good for their family third, what’s good for their donors fourth…the nation isn’t on the list anymore so they intend to shut it down again with no thought to the cost or harm or hardships that will cause.

I find it easy for the car to be hidden from the truck driver in a blind spot. I find it impossible that the entirety of the truck was in the car's blind spot.

If a truck was to keep all vehicles out of their blind spots it would be almost impossible to drive.

But on second viewing she appears to have been completely ignoring the fact he was there, either deliberately or through ignorance. (I could't see her look at the biker even once and he was in the blind spot)

Either way that behaviour could easily prove fatal at higher speeds. And even at the speed they were going serious injuries are entirely possible, I nearly broke my wrist once merely dropping a bike (Yet walked away from a 40mph spill because life is strange like that).

I know motor-bicyclists may seem like whingy bitches sometimes, but we are absurdly vulnerable to ignorant assholes like this.

Those are very wise words. But many of us go through life uncovering the blind spots by opening ourselves to new ideas and situations. Our opinions change as we uncover more.

I don't consider it a bad thing to have those kinds of blind spots, but i reserve a special kind of contempt for people who resist the opportunity to increase their field of vision. It's hard for some people to acknowledge that they might have got something which they're very passionate about slightly or completely wrong.

If what you say is true, it suggests that the system by which police are trained and taught how to behave is behind the problem. So unless you mean the culture of the police force, my first indication from that statistic is that they're being taught to do it that way.

You probably should, as the issue of him intentionally closing the gap is addressed numerous times by the fact that this isn't a pickup truck, it's a semi, which is incapable of speeding up that quickly to intentionally block the person trying to merge, and if you pay closer attention to the cars ahead of the truck, it looks more like the gap was closed from the front, not behind (traffic looks to be slowing down as it nears the top of a hill)

"The blond" also doesn't signal that they're merging until just before they're literally moving into the lane which means that a Semi would basically not have the time to slow down to avoid the collision anyway.

That's true to an extent, as well as always having an escape route in mind, but what this guy was doing was approaching the car ahead so quickly that the driver couldn't possibly have seen him and anticipated his maneuvers He (or she) signaled, probably checked their mirrors for traffic, began the lane change at a safe rate, and suddenly there was a motorcycle there. Typically, the time the elapses between when I check my blind spot and then begin to shift lanes is about two or three seconds. Even if I saw a motorcycle in my lane in the rearview, I couldn't possibly be expected to to know he intended to pull into my lane.

The guy on the motorcycle (who is clearly an exceptionally dense and reckless case), was just treating traffic as though they were obstacles. There aren't many motorcycle riders *that* incompetent, even among the dudebros.

When I'm driving, and there is a motorcycle coming up on me, I always make a point to make eye contact (either directly or in a mirror) to let him know I know he's there. The motorcyclist in this video is just suicidally insane.
