Uh-oh. Calls to subpoena Jared, who was part of the administration and did change policies drastically and was handed $2 billion as soon as he left office have grown louder and crossed the aisles.
Every penny of Hunter’s compensation was accounted for as legitimate pay for his services as a Yale educated business lawyer with a successful business law firm, unlike Jared whose father was convicted of running a criminal empire Jared then took over (convicted on 18 counts, pardoned by Trump) and had no real investment experience and was actually determined by the Royal Fund managers to be completely unqualified to invest in, but got $2 billion anyway after protecting the Prince from murder charges for murdering and dismembering an American journalist and selling the often hostile Saudis hundreds of billions in weapons.
This will bleed over to Trump, he was directly involved. Another case of every accusation is an admission. You idiots should REALLY stop making baseless accusations of crimes you yourselves are guilty of.

Steve Jobs on Death - The best 4 mins you will ever spend

cloudballoon says...

More unspoken gems from Jobs: Steal all the credits of the people working under you. Never recognize the people that helped you at your hours of need. And never, EVER, acknowledge your failures. Shaemlessly brand all your barely minium-wage earning, freshly out-of-high-schoolers of a staff Geniuses. Marketing the shit out of your middling products like they're bleeding edge tech. Throttle the F out of your products to force people upgrade and create necessary enrionmental hazzards. I can list 5~10x more problems but I'll stop.

For me, the only thing the life of Steve Jobs that's worth studying is his firm grasp of the people's susceptibility to Marketing.

Smoke Shop Robbery, Las Vegas - Robber Stabbed

newtboy says...

There was more than enough time to bleed through from 7 stab wounds before he dumped him on the floor, imo. I was shocked the store owner wasn’t drenched in blood by then, but I see none at all. I just find that odd, I bleed like a water balloon if you stick me.
I also found it insane the thief didn’t seem to react to the first 4-5 stabs at all, he fought back like nothing happened at first, another reason I assumed they maybe didn’t penetrate. The last two sure did, but even the knife still looked clean coming out. WTF!? Super blood absorbing sweat shirt?

I think the owner, if charged, will go for a jury trial and be acquitted….or might take a no prison plea deal if it’s good enough. I can’t see getting a conviction in Nevada for this, unless he hires Amber Heard or Alex Jones’ lawyers. In Florida, he wouldn’t get a ticket. I doubt he’ll see jail, possibly a fine and huge civil suit. Hope he has good insurance.

Edit: I just found this piece about this robbery victim shooting a disarmed robber in the back, eventually killing him, who wasn’t charged. I think the smoke shop owner was more restrained and hope he isn’t charged either.

? Inviting him back in? What? When? They never left. I don’t think he’s claiming these were the same robbers that robbed him earlier that month, if that’s what you mean.

Edit: I do love the prominent cross on the one robber’s neck. This is what people mean when they say “I’m a Christian, I would never do something like that.”

BSR said:

I don't think the blood had time to penetrate the clothing he was wearing. I also believe each strike penetrated pretty well with the force he was using. I also think the owner is going to see some jail time.

The owner wanted the altercation by inviting the robber back into the store so he could get revenge.

Introducing the Omega 1 - A Revolutionary Engine

newtboy says...

I thought by comparing itself to existing technologies, it was being up front that it’s just moving from purely theoretical to prototype. Maybe that’s not as clear to others?

I’m fairly certain every single point there was made about the Wankel when it was prototyped…look at it now! Edit: in fact, wankel side seals are the likely solution…it has the same rotary “side bleed” issue and they do ok.
Same for reciprocating piston engines and more.

Sure, it’s not ready for prime time, and no, it is no where near it’s theoretical potentials. What engine has been at this point? They got it to run, I’m pretty impressed with that as it’s much farther than most theoretical motor designs ever get.

TheFreak said:

No.

What kind of tolerances do you need to seal the chambers created by those rotors and then what happens to those tolerances from thermal expansion when the engine heats up?

Now ask yourself how you lubricate all of that and then notice the oil literally pouring out of the front seals of that engine.

All of those numbers are made up. Maybe someone did some creative theoretical napkin calculations but those numbers aren't based on anything that engine is doing.

If you lose someone you love, remember where you put them. Through your senses , your eyes, your ears, nose, mouth and touch, you sent all that information to your heart. That is where to look for the one you love. This is where they are and you put them there. Some know exactly how to get into your heart because you let them in.

Better get your tickets to Trump/OReilly before they sell out…..
Oh, never mind, they’re only running at 5-10% capacity at the small (10000 - 15000 seat) stadiums that they booked. That means a free upgrade is guaranteed, buy nose bleed seats, you’ll be sitting in the floor seating anyway.
But he’s so popular, how can that be? His photoshopped photos show every single seat filled…too bad for them local news also took footage showing the reality of near empty stadiums.

Hitler reacts to the fall of Afghanistan

cloudballoon says...

It is MUCH more on point if you substitute "Biden" with "Conservative American Militarism."

To be fair, yes Biden pulled out way too hastily. He'll own it.

But it's always the GOP that starts getting American soldiers killed on foreign grounds and bleeding American people dry to feed the MIC, make an embarassment of itself abroad, dragging all its allies down along its military misadventures. And then it takes an Democrat POTUS to cut the lost -- at tremendous political cost (and courage to take the blowback) -- to free up the $$$ to rebuild America.

It's just a crying shame America can never win a war post WWII.

Concern about the Afghan people. What a laugh. Since when the Right ever cared about "People"? It's always money over people. The American Right doesn't even care about its own people, let alone a foreign people that the Right is extremely suspicious of (Any random Fox/OAN/Newsmax host: NO F***KING AFGHAN REFUGEES!!!! ALL THE AFHGAN THAT WORKED FOR US AS TRANSLATORS ARE TERROISTS, ALL THERE WOMEN & CHILDREN ARE COMING TO TAKE OVER AMERICA! BELIEVE YOU ME!!).

Republicans Refuse to Move On from Donald Trump

newtboy says...

Oh you poor poor imbecile. You swallowed another Trump lie hook line and sinker.

Even the “audit” team said this was likely a clerical error….and it is, theirs. The problem is, the list they used to compare to the mail in ballots mailed out includes early in person voting. So, if just 74000 people voted early in person, the tally is 100% correct.

But…the accusation was spread online, and a game of Republican telephone had Trump claiming they found 74000 fraudulent mail in votes with no records. That’s absolutely not correct, even according to the propaganda team from Cyberninja.

So far, of over 3 million, 182 ballots in AZ required further investigation, 4 were considered fraudulent. None have led to conviction.

The proper paper stock” and “not proper alignment l claims are all about in person ballots that are printed at the polls, so misalignment is normal and expected. There was no “improper paper stock” found according to cyber ninjas, Mari ops county used 80lb stock approved by Dominion, and the “not proper alignment” claim stems from the already debunked “sharpie gate” where they claimed bleed through might effect the count but never produced a single example after two audits and one cyber ninja review (it’s not an audit). The bubbles don’t align front to back, even when out of alignment, so it’s not possible for bleed through to cause a vote, and ballots with bleed through are routinely copied by bipartisan teams because they won’t scan at all, this has been true for decades.

They did not find a single mail in vote with no record of it being sent out, they compared the ballots sent number with the ballots received number and never looked to see that the votes received list included in person early voting numbers not on the ballots sent list. It took them how long to make this mistake? 4 months?

Derp! Another loss for the fraud fraud. 🤦‍♂️

On Thursday &7/15/21) the Arizona Senate held a hearing on the ongoing Maricopa County forensic audit.

The audit team announced there were 74,000 ballots that were received and included in the 2020 Election in Maricopa County than were mailed out.

The Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan reported this along with other issues already identified from their investigation

They found 74,243 mail-in ballots with NO clear record of them ever being sent!

The audit team also announced that ballots were counted that WERE NOT on the proper paper stock and WERE NOT in proper printing alignment.

Other ballots were marked with Sharpie pens that bled through the paper.

According to elections expert Jovan Pulitzer what was presented today was just the appetizer before the main course to come!

Chicago Cop Abandons Woman Being Threatened With A Gun

Mordhaus says...

I'm sure they get a small amount of training for situations like this, probably as much as the city will spend.

The point is, even with that training, there are no good options. If he shoots the black guy, he is simply the latest racist pig murdering 'innocent' people of color.

If he stands there and tries to talk the guy down, a vest doesn't cover your entire body. You can bleed to death from arm or leg shots, plus at that range the head is not a hard to hit target.

Maybe he isn't fit to be a cop. But the point is that because we haven't figured out a way to stop cops from kneeling on someone until they suffocate or shooting people in the back, all cops now have to make a split second decision on whether they can act as they were trained to do or act as protesters, the government, and the media want them to do.

We also judge them on what we think we would do, even though I doubt we will ever be in a similar situation.

I would attempt to get some form of training for similar situations before being given a gun and a bulletproof vest.

Bicycling Crowded Brooklyn Bridge With Loud Bike Car Horn

newtboy says...

All these people are walking and loitering in the freaking bike lane.

As planned, there would be no pedestrians on the left 1/2 of the path, but people can't follow the rules. I would want a truck air horn for my bike and a nice spiked leather jacket, make their ears and shoulders bleed if they want to walk on the bike path.
