Cybertruck Bullet Test

newtboy says...

Oh shit! Hey @bobknight33…did you know?
Under 2 months after delivery, in some cases just days after delivery, users are finding out the “stainless steel” skin is less than stainless. They used low quality steel. It rusts immediately.
In one case an owner in LA drove for 2 days and found hundreds of orange pock marks that were the skin rusting.
Owners are even more shocked to find out Tesla says this is owner error, that in the manual it says you must remove anything on the exterior immediately or it will rust…so tree sap, bugs, bird poop, road spray, rain, dust, mud, dirt, fog, fingerprints, etc WILL permanently damage the finish if not removed immediately….yes, you are expected to do a full inspection and wipe down every single day after every drive, and keep your oversized truck indoors or expect rust immediately, and should still expect discoloration as the steel ages.
If you live within 20 miles of the ocean, or somewhere road salt is used, or near salt lake, or somewhere with trees, birds, dust, or rain…or if you ever plan to visit them…cybertruck is absolutely not a good choice.
Tesla knew.

THIS CROW CAN TALK! LIKE A HUMAN!!!

newtboy says...

I’m not SURE you’re wrong, but that looks like single pane glass which barely muffles sound at all (just like I have in my 70 year old house), and crows are definitely known for learning how to mimic words quite well.

Or perhaps (more likely) this unit has a malfunctioning cpu and its surveillance recordings are getting mixed up with its bird sound effect files and its amplifier is also being overpowered.

Yeah this crow can talk like I can sing like [insert your fav artist] with auto-tune.

Window's closed. Crow's volume picked up just fine.

Hawaii Seaglider Initiative Launch

It’s a ground effect hydrofoil sea plane inter island electric ferry concept, so it’s near its limit in the video.
Ground effect refers to a flight characteristic noticed at low altitudes where the air below the wing compresses between the wing and ground, creating enormous lift with smaller wings or winglets. This makes them much more efficient, especially at lower speeds or with heavy loads.
The largest I know of is the Ecronoplan- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lun-class_ekranoplan)

Here’s a bit more info
https://www.hawaiiseaglider.org/

Many “birds” make use of this flight characteristic to save battery power during long term surveillance flights, especially just offshore.

Pretty cool! Is there a limit to how high it can climb? I like the wings. Kinda reminds me of the unreal "birds".

Birds Aren’t Real On Fox News

luxintenebris jokingly says...

Am neutral on this issue of robotic crows & such -but someone mentioned starlings.

Starlings are not natural.

1) The iridescent color is an illusion
2) They can and have spoken in English & other tongues
3) A pair raised a brood in a tree next to the house & rarely made noise

None of this is normal bird behavior.

1) am told their plumage (notably the ' iridescence') has no true pigment but the structure of their feathers. Could be that it's a cloaking device since we don't always see them around.

2) if they can speak in captivity, they must while in the flock, if only to keep their English (et al) sharp. it's proof that they hear and understand us. handy for data gathering.

3) Since the pair near us have raised littles & they only 'buzz' when ma or pa show up with Grub Hub - it suggests they are covert creatures. a trait common in spies. [also, mysteriously two of the house cats have gone missing just before they moved in.]

not saying ALL birds are bots - but if there is a place to start an investigation - Starlings are the best bet.

How do we know that they weren't behind this obvious attempt at propaganda. as if falling in love is akin to being in a murmuration...

Biden Smiden - investigate Starlings.

Birds Aren’t Real On Fox News

newtboy says...

Only a government mole would say such a thing hoping to embarrass or shame people out of telling the truth!

What you don’t realize is we already know….moles (and gophers) also aren’t real, having been replaced worldwide by government controlled bioengineered cyborg rodents after 9-11 to keep track of may-be-terrorists who already know how to successfully avoid surveillance by “birds”.

Nice try…we’re on to you little fuzzy buddy.

On the secret third hand that humans all have, I hope the commenters here on the sift who also claim birds aren't real stop doing so - it's only feeding into the birdbrains' delusion. This paragraph was not written under duress, and there are no starlings in the room here with me.
