No cat. No parrot. No bluebird or flies or Bart Simpson or anything else. If you think about it, putting out a bowl of meat is kinda funny all by itself. In this context, it's a bit funnier. Not Larson's greatest, but not bad.

Hell yeah, I can feel this vibe.

He actually lives in SF... so if I still lived there I know plenty of people who like going for stoney or drunken strolls which is a lot fun at night.

But, I live one BART stop away from SF, it's $4.50 to get anywhere there, requires going under the bridge and quite possibly the BIG one would hit while I was under there and I would drown with drunken asshole tech bros; but then I would also have to come back to the East Bay at least by 12:15am and everyone knows the real fun is happening between 1am-3:30am - but I don't want to get stranded staying and passing out on someone's couch.

Hmm... I'll probably just stay at home and look at my container of DMT and think about entering the 8th Dimension, for real, instead.

I lived in many places in SF from 2001-2011, TL, SOMA, Bernal Heights, Lower-Haight and for a longer while in the Mission.

Never paid more than $550.

Been living in Oakland the last year - have a house 2 small blocks from BART, 1 stop to SF (although there is no need) 7 bedrooms, 2 roommates, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, large backyard (with many fantastic substances growing), laundry room... and still do not pay over $550 and Oakland is where all the cool people are anyway these days + Quality of life in my opinion is much better especially because the cost of living is a lot lower since I'm not being nickel & dimed (One Dollared) everywhere I go. I can walk to work without any fucking stupid fucks saying a fucking word to me, I could take the bus and not sit in fucking piss & blood and it isn't crowded usually 1 or 2 people on the bus.

Been in SF a few times over the year to see Acid Mother's Temple, Meshuggah and also Panda Bear live...but Oakland even has better Mexican food so it's increasingly off my radar.

I live in West Oakland. Before I moved here all my friends told me it was inevitable that I was going to get shot and my apartment broken into.

That has not been true AT ALL. Not only that but I walk around the really really terrible "Lower Bottoms" *gasp* everyday, I'd say a good one hour of foot traffic up and down Lower-Bottoms and I have not seen anyone doing anything in the least bit threatening to anyone's property or man-flesh.

Oakland is actually FUCKING awesome. Yeah, like any city there are portions that are not so great. What was showcased here was a portion of East Oakland a little past Fruitvale BART station.

Yes, there are spots that are dangerous there but Oakland is a sprawled out city, is Oakland the Wild West? I'd venture to say it is somewhat but it certainly is not even close to as bad as people make it out to seem - especially compared to most cities on the East Coast.

I have to call into question the area they said Bart was used when referring to "what do you call a public railway system(normally underground)". They did not highlight the actual area where Bart runs (The San Francisco bay area) but an area where Bart doesn't even exist. Seems like if anyone was to say Bart it would be in the area Bart was available.
