Missouri tries to legislate reality away

@bcglorf open trans people are .6% of the population (.7% of 18-24). When over 2% of pinnacle athletes dominating their sports are trans, come back and we’ll talk. Until then, you’re barking at clouds.

You do understand this isn’t real, right? The way you talk, I could believe you believe this is a documentary.

So you aren’t confused, I do think private competitions should make their own rules as they see fit, but any sport that uses public funding, including school sports, cannot exclude a segment of the population from participating based on assumed group characteristics. Not in America.

Dog Gets Shocked After Waking Up to Bear looking at it

moonsammy says...

"Ok... stay calm. We've trained for this. Shit, did I train for this? Irrelevant. Some sort of monster on the other side of the hard airr. In my yard. Monster in my yard. Get up? Yes, getting up now. Oh good, that's making him go away a bit. What was I supposed to say in situations like this...? I say it a lot normally... Oh yeah!"

Bark!

Your barking up a dead tree and Voter ID is not poll tax. Thee is no evidence to support that position.

You can't live in USA with out an ID.

There's always a chance, what there isn't is any evidence it's ever been a problem (except 2018 which had huge problems with Republicans trying to cheat, but they were caught), including in the multiple states that have been universally voting by mail for multiple elections. It's never been a question before Trump. Now it's only questionable because of Trump's incompetence, interference, and lies.
Yesterday he said if he loses, there's cheating, if he wins, there isn't. I'm certain you are so gone you agree with that and don't see any problems with that mindset.

Don't forget Trump's multi million dollar investigation into fraudulent votes in 2016 when he claims 3 million illegal immigrants voted found.....wait for it.......FUCKING NOTHING. The only voter fraud in decades has been by Republicans. You still never offered a single one of the "known instances of Democrats cheating", but you tried at least 3 times failing miserably every time and only coming up with Trump's plan to suppress and deny the votes of tens of millions of citizens, cheating them out of their vote to stop this lie of non existent, not found when investigated, rampant illegal voting. Nothing else, certainly not a single democrat cheating.

Voter ID is a poll tax. If Republicans had paid for the ID they wanted everyone to have, and forced everyone to get their voter only ID in person, so rich people weren't exempt from this extra day spent at the dmv and fee requirement to vote, it wouldn't be a consideration because the point isn't to stop in person voter fraud which isn't a problem, it's to stop people who can't afford to pay $25 and take two days off work to vote from voting.

It's the same reason Republicans refuse to consider making election day a holiday so everyone could vote...more voters mean fewer Republicans elected.

Bush fire goes from 1 to a 100 in a couple seconds

eric3579 says...

Seems Eucalyptus trees are made to create firestorms..

Fallen eucalyptus leaves create dense carpets of flammable material, and the trees' bark peels off in long streamers that drop to the ground, providing additional fuel that draws ground fires up into the leaves, creating massive, fast-spreading "crown fires" in the upper story of eucalyptus forests.

Additionally, the eucalyptus oil that gives the trees their characteristic spicy fragrance is a flammable oil: This oil, combined with leaf litter and peeling bark during periods of dry, windy weather, can turn a small ground fire into a terrifying, explosive firestorm in a matter of minutes. That's why eucalyptus trees — especially the blue gums (Eucalyptus globulus) that are common throughout New South Wales — are sometimes referred to wryly as "gasoline trees."

Eucalyptus do extremely well after fires. Fire and Eucalyptus make good partners it seems. https://wildfiretoday.com/2014/03/03/eucalyptus-and-fire/

Hillbilly Neighbor Is Pissed About New Dog And Trampoline

newtboy says...

There's little question that she put the trampoline on the fenceline to provoke Billy to create drama for more videos, knowing she would react and they could film it.
If I were Billy, I would set up a permanent mannequin orgy in my yard so mom would want to block her kid's view of my yard...but that's just me. Dad taught me that to manage people effectively, you need to get them to want to do what you want them to. Granted, he meant by making them want to please you, but sometimes you just have to get it how you can. ;-)

Dogs that bark outside at 6am deserve calls to animal control every time it happens. The woman recording is also a provocative bitch to say 'barking is what dogs do at 6am, we won't stop it.' Billy could sue her for that in many jurisdictions, but knowing Billy she'll likely harm the dog instead. She is not the nice, reasonable person she presents herself as in her videos, she's a passive aggressive provocateur....but Billy's a total nutjob.
Intentionally provoking nutjobs isn't smart, even if it's how you make money. Good thing for them both this is almost certainly fake/comedy.

Hillbilly Neighbor Is Pissed About New Dog And Trampoline

eric3579 says...

First off why the fuck does she video the interaction with her neighbor when discussing these neighbor issues? If you ask me that's provoking all on it's own. That's not what good neighbors do to resolve issues.

Kids on trampoline always peepin what you're doing is kinda annoying but barking dogs piss me off. If your defense is "that's what dogs do" then fuck you. If your dogs are barking outside at 6:30am bring the fucker in. I love animals, but dogs that constantly bark in close neighborhoods are a nuisance. End of barking dog rant.

Also that hillbilly hair is amazing and she fixes her bike with duct tape. These things score huge points with me

(edit) okay after watching more vids from this women's channel which are ALL of her neighbor, i think that Billy is a bit off and difficult to be neighbors with. Also with as many views as this woman gets from her videos shes making a nice chunk of change. Just sayin'. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWtCqWbJOO0VqzDX4AX3eKg/videos?disable_polymer=1

Ha!
Yeah...if I was more creative and less lazy, I would put together a newt in a Dutch boy paint outfit or something.
What I use is my sweet (now deceased) golden retriever/lab puppy getting blown back by my neighbor's huge dog's hurricane bark.
Maybe someday I'll get off my ass and change it.

Dashcam Video Of Alabama Cop Who Shot Man Holding His Wallet

Digitalfiend says...

So many dumb mistakes in the video...

The cop was definitely in the wrong shooting the guy and if he had waited just a half a second longer, his brain probably would have registered that the guy was complying and simply holding his wallet; i.e. not a threat. The cop was likely in a defensible position, behind the squad car, so taking that extra time before using lethal force was likely doable. But that is a lot of assumptions from my comfortable office chair.

Still, to just leave the guy laying on the ground after shooting him and then continuing to bark commands at him like he's still a threat...ugh. I've seen so many wrongful shooting videos where this happens, so it makes you wonder if it is a policy thing to minimize potential for a greater lawsuit (e.g. what if rolling the guy over to address his gunshot wound causes further damage, etc); perhaps it is to protect the officer from viral infection. Who knows, but it certainly seems callous and cold hearted.

With that said, the driver is a moron getting out of his vehicle like that. Wtf. You live in a country where your police officers are all too frequently shooting unarmed citizens by mistake and you decide to jump out of your car with your dark wallet? For what purpose? Turn off the car, turn on your cabin light, roll down the window, and wait for the officer to approach. Only reach for your wallet/permit when you're asked for your ID. Seems like common sense to me.
