KIDS REACT TO 1990s COMMERCIALS: Trapper Keepers!

Math hiphop (clipping - story 2)

eric3579 says...

Godsmack is how the wind feels
On the face of Mike Winfield
On his way home from the bar where he works
Nights - the worst nights, don't nobody tip right
And between the marriage offers and the fist fights
And if another mother fucker touch his wrist trying to pull him in to whisper
He ain't making it to midnight
Don't they know he got a lighter in his pocket
A matchbook in his sock and a block full of charred skeletons closeted begging to get out
He paused cause he's scared of airing out the thoughts
He can taste it in his mouth the sulfur and bitter carbon
Hearing all the burning bodies shout but no
That was a full lifetime ago and nobody ever has to know
He has never told well except Ronald
But that don't count he was sweet and exactly what he needed him to be at the time
Wine and candlelight and nice texts at lunchtime
Why had he not called Ron back
Guess there just wasn't a spark, ha!
No, no, musn't joke about these things
Wouldn't want to disappoint Doc Clark
So many hours on the couch
So many buried memories that take so many tears to get them out
Water hadn't never been a friend
Hold up - where had he seen that car before
Blue Acura dent on the left rear fender
Back again the sense of
Deja Vu
Strange things you
Never shake when you wake up in recovery
But suddenly noticing ash is covering his head cause it's raining from the sky
Dials home on his cell phone and gets no reply
What the fuck?
Where is the babysitter that he overpays
Body takes over and brain becomes disengaged
Michael is running his house is three blocks away
Adrenaline compensating for change in age
Since the last time that he ran it god dammit
Mike knows he gotta get home fast as he can
Looks up in the sky, glow's familiar
Knows those families died with similar
Awnings and on and on he keeps going
Hits the corner just as he hears the explosion
Screams come from the house, "Did you get them out?"
Mike asking the crowd that has gathered 'round
Tears running down his face
There's that familiar taste
He wishes it would take him to another place
Son and his baby girl in his home and he can't believe that it's gone in a cloud of smoke
And he's choking and running forward and hoping against hope that he might find them alive and well
When he knows the results too well and he knows that fooled himself
And he keeps walking towards the house rather what house is still left
No intention of stopping letting the smoke take his breath
Some strong arm rocks him aside Mike falls to the ground and cries
Why won't you just let me die
Why won't you just let me die

That's pretty sick *promote

This is the remaining video I was talking about:

If a ban is seconded after the poster has been banned, Siftbot says that there was a problem completing the ban request and the video won't be removed. Manually discarding it doesn't redact the video and description. Maybe the ban invocation should discard and redact a video regardless of the status of its poster, if this is possible.

No, it's too easy to foul something up by doing such a sweeping change automatically, so they need to be handled manually.

In most cases a spammer doesn't have much content, so it's typically just a matter of me updating a single post. The only trouble is ensuring people alert me that it needs doing.

Thanks for hollering.

Little Girl Double-Takes her Father's Twin

Aliens Power Loader Baby Costume

blahpook says...

YouTube Description:

My Daughter and I went to a Halloween Party dressed as the Power Loader from "Aliens." I love Halloween, and I wanted to create a costume that my daughter and I could share. She was amazingly content the whole night, and enjoyed looking at everybody else's costumes!I built this robot suit in two nights and a day out of cardboard boxes and hot glue. My baby girl rides comfortably in a Baby Bjorn with the roll cage protecting her. The entire costume only weighs about ten pounds, plus baby.My highest priority was keeping my little girl safe, so the costume was designed for mobility and quick exit in case of emergency. The boots are basically cardboard slippers that could pop right off. With a shrug of my shoulders, I could pop the arms right off. What you can't see from the video is that there are no bottoms on the robot arms, so my human arms were completely free and unimpeded. I could leave the claws hanging idle from the shoulder joints while I could address any of my girl's needs. I would have had to take the suit off to changer her diaper, though! The internet has been amazingly kind and positive about this outfit. Thank you for all of the amazing comments and compliments you have posted about my little girl!

The Great Porn Experiment: TEDxGlasgow, Gary Wilson

gwiz665 says...

I think we've been through it before. I think your point is bad and you should feel bad about it, and I didn't really want to get back into it.

You want to shelter your kids, that's also bad.

Porn is not inherently bad, although there's certainly abuse within the system - it attracts the "bad crowds". There's certainly mainstream porn I don't particularly like, like the humiliating type. That's just offputting to me. But the what I like, isn't what everyone else likes.

In a healthy relationship, or in a healthy single life, porn is used intermittently when you feel the need for it. I still watch my share of porn, but far less than when I was single. I naturally stopped watching it, because I didn't really feel like it. My lovely wife, @Lann, doesn't care what I watch. Hell, she even approves, although our tastes are different. Just because your wife doesn't like you watching porn, and that's a totally fair point I'll agree, that doesn't mean that porn is bad - it means that you guys need to figure that out. Like if your wife doesn't like taking public transportation, you could get her a car, and not claim that busses are bad.

Instant access to porn or other immediate "highs" aren't inherently bad either. Our evolutionary process is working too slow to keep up with our technological progress. We need to be able to control ourselves in the same way that we have to control our intake of sugar, since our bodies aren't made for it.

Even though you probably don't want it from me, I'll give you some advice on the kids as well. Teach them about porn the same way you teach them about action movies. It's a movie, just because Will Smith jumps a car at full speed and can jump our of a building and survive, doesn't mean you should - in the same way, your little baby girl probably shouldn't try to do the Houston 500. In fact, I recommend not to.

They way you speak of porn, it's as if it's addictive like fucking heroin, and I just don't think that has any hold in reality. I'm sure it can be like that for some people, but I think that's just poor willpower, and I don't pity that.

Why am I not surprised that @gwiz665 downvoted my anti-porn comment?
And with no comment as to why, no reasoning. Classy.

Live Action Planned Parenthood Sting Operation

MrFisk says...

Live Action public relations:
"AUSTIN, May 29 -- Today, Live Action released a new undercover video showing a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Austin, TX encouraging a woman to obtain a late-term abortion because she was purportedly carrying a girl and wanted to have a boy. The video is first in a new series titled "Gendercide: Sex-Selection in America," exposing the practice of sex-selective abortion in the United States and how Planned Parenthood and the rest of the abortion industry facilitate the selective elimination of baby girls in the womb.

"I see that you're saying that you want to terminate if it's a girl, so are you just wanting to continue the pregnancy in the meantime?" a counselor named "Rebecca" offers the woman, who is purportedly still in her first trimester and cannot be certain about the gender. "The abortion covers you up until 23 weeks," explains Rebecca, "and usually at 5 months is usually (sic) when they detect, you know, whether or not it's a boy or a girl." Doctors agree that the later in term a doctor performs an abortion, the greater the risk of complications.

The Planned Parenthood staffer suggests that the woman get on Medicaid in order to pay for an ultrasound to determine the gender of her baby, even though she plans to use the knowledge for an elective abortion. She also tells the woman to "just continue and try again" for the desired gender after aborting a girl, and adds, "Good luck, and I hope that you do get your boy."

"The search-and-destroy targeting of baby girls through prenatal testing and abortion is a pandemic that is spreading across the globe," notes Lila Rose, founder and president of Live Action. "Research proves that sex-selective abortion has now come to America. The abortion industry, led by Planned Parenthood, is a willing participant."

Six studies in the past four years indicate that there are thousands of "missing girls" in the U.S., many from sex-selective abortion. The U.K., India, Australia, and other countries ban sex-selective abortion, but the U.S., save for three states, does not. On Wednesday, Congress will debate the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act (PRENDA), which would ban sex-selective abortions nationally.

"Planned Parenthood and their ruthless abortion-first mentality is the real 'war on women'," says Rose. "Sex-selective abortion is gender discrimination with lethal consequences for little girls."

The complete, unedited video and transcript can be viewed at www.ProtectOurGirls.com, a hub of research and information on sex-selective abortions.

Live Action is a youth led movement dedicated to building a culture of life and ending the human rights abuse of abortion. They use new media to educate the public about the humanity of the unborn and investigative journalism to expose threats against the vulnerable and defenseless.
